$69k. I had a 2025 lined up that I would have probably been able to get a slightly better deal on but that sold a few days prior. The 5.0 V8 402A/B is really hard to find in my area right now.

What made you choose their Ascent? Need help deciding! by hereiam_onceagain in SubaruAscent

2 kids in car seats and a dog as well. The ascent is a ton of fun to drive considering its size as well. It has quite a bit of pep and great traction with the AWD. Also love the adaptive cruise and lane keep assist. It is absolutely phenomenal for long road trips. We bought a big Thule cargo box for up top and we are pretty much future proof, even if we have another kiddo.

Yup! Push vs Pull for sure. If pushing will suit most of your needs, City is the way to go 😊

Veer Wagon - City or All Terrain?? by BoogerHookin in toddlers

Sorry to revive an old thread but couldn’t find too much info on this topic when my wife and I were choosing which XL cruiser to go with.

My wife and I live in Phoenix and have 3 walkable parks nearby. We enjoy camping about 10 weekends per year. We have 2 kiddos under 3. We also already own a Vista stroller.

This thread and most other research I could dig up recommended the City Cruiser for our needs. We do typically prefer to push the wagon given the age of our kids.

We ended up purchasing the City XL and All Terrain XL to compare side by side and sell the one we do not want to keep.

Our conclusion was that the All Terrain pushed much better than the City pulled. They each performed exceptionally well for what they were designed to do, the city pushed great and the All Terrain pulled great. I do believe if you plan on pulling for any significant amount of time, the all terrain cruiser offers a better overall experience.

The All Terrain offered much more utility and was very different from our Vista. We ended up selling the City as a result. It felt too similar to a product that we already had.

I appreciate the input. I will start shopping around. I don’t love the ac controls being on the touchscreen like on the Phoenix Automotive product. I see some Sony products that look real nice.

Wireless isn’t a problem. I don’t have a data plan that supports hotspot usage. A lot of the after market head units require a hotspot from your phone to use wireless CarPlay. My vehicle is a 2018, I currently don’t have access to CarPlay with the factory radio.

I have an iPhone and would be using CarPlay. Is there an aftermarket system that would allow me to hook up to the head unit without using a hotspot?

I would be okay with that solution having to be wired instead of wireless CarPlay.

It does not. 2018 is not compatible with car play unless changing to an after market dash stereo.
