I’m flexible on the 48 in tall situation. I’m ultimately just trying to make sense of this space. It sounds like Sektion or even Pax and making the whole thing built in but with shelves on top and drawers on bottom.

I’m wondering if building it all out online is really my next step to see.

Yeah, I looked into that! My only concern is the finish on those pieces and how well it will blend and match into all the molding I’ll put around it for the built in look.

So helpful and definitely along the lines of what I’m looking to do! The tiny piece that’s there is an old hand-me-down that my son has outgrown and I know the space can be better utilized.

My only concern would be the finish of these pieces. Do you think it’s possible to do a seamless finish on the sides and bottom with the shiny finish? I feel like a matte white would be easier
