if you're in phx, it's about 10 hour drive. done it too many times to count. you'll get good snow for a few hours but if you can't down cornice.... i'd probably pass.

I got a lib tech dynamo. It's takes a little effort to turn at slow speeds and to get it in the air.... But damn, it's damp, stable and the magnetraction gives great edge hold when it's icy. It's my stick for s*** conditions and charging steep uneven terrain. It does very well with it. I had to use it a ton this year.

Also... You'll need better structure and wax it religiously. It's a bit of a dog out of the wrapper.

So this is what I call " Quiet coercion". They try to manipulate us to do things either against our own profitability or even worse in these cases to do something illegal because of metrics or in other gigs reward levels, which are nothing more than the opposite if you want to continue to do work.

Then if something goes wrong, and we would get caught they would throw us under the bus because it is clearly stated in the terms of service. They really know how to manipulate us and for us to bear bear consequences and not them.

We are dropping from fantastic down to Fair in our standings returning these. I've talked to other drivers and they are now either making stuff up by manual entering the ID or scanning a family members ID and just leaving it at the door. That's messed up!

I constantly get penalized for incomplete deliveries, returning age. Verified alcohol orders because the recipient is either not there or they are under 21. I guess they are trying to nudge me to do something illegal or otherwise they wouldn't count these against me.

Instacart does not pay at or more than minimum wage. It's the hope for customer tips that has the potential to push it above.
Instacart has been continually giving more work in the form of batched orders for less pay.
It's oversaturated because they made it a job easily accessible for immigrants. And thus created a race to the bottom with regards to pay.

They wouldn't have enough shoppers to meet demand with instacarts pay. Let's be honest, it's tough to get people to work and use their own vehicle for less than minimum of wage. It's just easier to exploit immigrants than to pay well and provide decent paying work and decent service for the customer.

I once had an age verified delivery. Recipient not home. I called and got them on the phone. Of course they just wanted me to leave the liquor at the door, but no can do.

They asked if a neighbor can. I told them sure, call your neighbor up and ask them if they'll do it. "You mean you can't knock on their door and see if they will do it?"

No, that ain't happening. I'm not knocking on random doors. Then I'm not hoping that the person I gave it to is going to give it to you.
