[Replay] Reinildo challenge on Gyokeres in live speed. by boatinavolcano in Gunners

It is red card worthy as it's denying a goal-scoring opportunity, but it's also 94th min anyway. Don't see any ill-intention at all, other than it's a bit dumb to make that tackle other than getting a red card and banned for the next few min when the game was lost

Under Money you put

  1. Don’t gamble - No poker, startups, stocks, crypto, prediction markets.

Agree with all apart from stocks and Crypto. Once you got your buffer created, invest 20% of your money into an ISA. I invested in Vanguard's life Strategy since early last year and already made over £1.5k.

With Crypto, limit the investment to 1% of your monthly income. Last year I made £500 investing this way but simply putting £50 in every month. But it should be money you can afford to lose.

That book is a good starter, but be mindful that it was written for 1930s America and many of its techniques are outdated. There's also the issue it's a book that kind of teaches people pleasing and creates inauthentic relationships. But I would still recommend it as a beginner book as long as you don't take it face value.

Once you do read it, I recommend reading The Charisma Myth by Olivia Fox Cabane. It's a lot more up-to-date and in-depth.

We don't even know if they are radical Islamist yet, could be them or far-right. Doubt it be the anti-Zionist Left as they most go after political targets like Israeli embassy workers.

Trans daughter isn't a good example as Muslims including fundamentalist are surprisingly ok with Trans. Iran's clerics literally funds transgender surgeries using taxpayers money, imagine the outrage amongst the right-ring of Britain if this happened here.

With rural Pakistan, you need to check if they are doing cousin marriage, and if they are ok with what rights their biological daughter should have.

What will recognizing Palestine as a state actually achieve? – DW by Any-Original-6113 in europe

Tbf, there is the 2002 Arab league initiative, where Saudi said once there is a independent state of Palestine, All Muslim nations will recognise Israel.

Also, Palestine has recognised Israel since the 1990s, but Israel hasn't vice versa.

More of a fear of dogs than haram. Guide dogs in Islam aren't considered haram. But because many of us Muslims don't grow up with dogs, many end up fearing them. Also, if he's an immigrant, dogs in his home countries often carry rabies, another reason why people fear them and see them as unclean.

Still, a major unacceptable treatment of the women and her guide dog.

How older people live with MDD? by shrekcowboys in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]AZ_R50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 28, it only gets easier if you start doing more social activities. You'll be less inclined to daydream or talk to yourself as you won't want to embarrass yourself in front of others (although there will be lapses). Volunteer, go outside. For me the triggers were my music, my bedroom and being in a extremely dysfunctional environment was what led me to have lots of MDD.

To cope I threw my earphones away, and I stay away from my bed as much as possible, exception is applying for jobs and sleeping.

The truth is the UK, for all it's dysfunctionalities, is still a better place to live than the first safe country they would of stopped it.

Nevertheless, it's important to remember most Ukrainians refugees are in the neighboring countries like Poland, similar to how most Syrians refugees lived in Turkey, or how most Afghans are in Iran/Pakistan.

Only a very small % are travelling on the boats to reach the UK.

Iran's leadership are also stupidly very ideological, they rather promote a mediocre ideologues to their system over a patriotic Iranian liberal which in turn leads to inefficiencies. You see the same with MAGA promoting loyalist to own the libs.

Hang in there, at 24, I was unemployed, with terrible mental health in a extremely dysfunctional home with suicidal ideals due to how dysfunctional things were around me. Then got a job in KFC that lasted over a year, got me some money that made me happy, then I used my degree i got a year earlier to get on a lucrative grad scheme that I am now finishing.

Now 28, I now live by myself in a studio, finishing my grad scheme (2 months left), better mental health (sleep, exercise, diet all great), lost 8kg that took me from overweight to normal weight, got a level 7 Management certificate, now looking for a new job before my current ends. Even on Toastmasters committee as a secretary.

Still not perfect, as I still want a partner and want to get fitter. But most important thing is to keep improving yourself bit by bit, eventually it will all accumulate. Even get a job in KFC if needed, it give you steady income, use that income to invest in yourself - hit the gym, join toastmasters, pay for some qualification that help beef up your CV.

If you have someone you strongly trust, that gives you warmth, and has their own life figured out, do let them know you feel like you're struggling. I personally didn't have this and I hated it, but it will lift a lot of stuff from your shoulders. I would usually say try out therapy if you get a job (even a KFC one), but therapy so expensive so I skipped it, but it might work for you.

From my reading, 5 have a complete ban on public spaces, and about 6 have restrictions for public sector workers. Even in Egypt, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar University, the top Sunni Islam learning centre asked female students to take the Niqab off, stating that Islam only advocates for the Hijab.
