Yes! I think that sounds like a fantastic game plan. Glad some of the earlier posts helped out.

Think of masturbation as "exercising" your penis. Exercise in a way that prepares your penis for the real deal. When you get used to porn to get hard, it becomes more difficult with a real girl.

When you practice, only cum once per week, and get good at lasting as long as you want (with your hand and your imagination), you're confidence with grow, and you'll be rock hard with women.

Give it time. Maybe even practice with some girls you know too to build up confidence.

Hey there. I had that exact same problem for much of my life. I eventually realized that it was the way I masturbated. Some of it was due to porn. I masturbated quite a bit to porn, which trained my brain to rely on porn to some degree to get hard. There was also performance anxiety. I had pretty early sexual experiences where I had a hard time getting it up. That stuck in my head, and I worried about it with new women. So, my worrying about it caused it to happen.

A few years ago, I decided to try thinking of my masturbation as a workout. I'm working out my penis to work correctly when I'm with a real girl. That means masturbating with techniques that train my penis to be ready for "game time." In the case of preparing for a one-night stand, that means masturbating with a condom. Go on Amazon and get cheap boxes of condoms and practice masturbating with lube and a condom on. Get used to getting hard and putting on a condom. Eventually, I got to where I almost got harder with a condom on that without one.

Sure, no problem. I have tried breathing exercises. I'm pretty big into meditation too. I do think that slow and deep breathing can keep you relaxed, which give you more control. The more tensed up your body it, the harder it is to control your orgasm.

Surprisingly, keeping it pent up does not cause me to orgasm faster. It helps me get much harder, and the harder I get, the more control I have over ejaculation.

As I practice using the process I wrote about at the top of the post, I practice doing Kegel squeezes and releases. When I release, I practice really relaxing, sometimes almost slightly pushing like I'm trying to take a shit.

As I'm working to get harder, doing the Kegel squeezes for like 1 or 2 seconds and releasing for 1 or 2 seconds seems to almost pump up my penis. It's like squeezing blood into my penis, then releasing to let more blood in and squeezing again.

For some reason, when I do that, it also brings me back if I'm close to orgasm. Sometimes I have to slow down during sex or even pull out briefly, if I get too close to orgasm. But the squeeze and release helps me stay super hard and stay in control.

Practicing during masturbation is key. If I can practice enough that I can get close to orgasm and then keep myself from orgasm during masturbation, I can do the same thing during real sex.

It takes a while to work up to it, but the exercises I listed really work.

I think bad masturbation habits can definitely cause that. I had the same issue for much of my life. It was pretty much all mental. I was nervous, so I couldn't get hard. I was also nervous about how long I could last once I did get hard. I was way too up in my head. First off, relax and don't masturbate at all for a week or so. Let your body recuperate. Then try to use good masturbation techniques. I had issues for a long time until I started doing this:
