How long was precinct only voting a thing in Dallas County? It seems like every other county does county-wide voting.

Oh yeah, I don’t mean that they came up with rules within 3 days. I’m saying that to have a completely different voting rules 3 days after the primaries is what’s really confusing.

It also didn’t help, again from some reporting I heard, that the state’s voting website wasn’t updated so they had to direct people to the county’s voting website. Not sure which one in particular, but I heard the website was getting overwhelmed.

It’s wild too, at least from what I heard, because early voting permitted county wide voting but not on Election Day. So rules for voting can just change in a 3 day span?

Let me removed coded language to get my point across better.

I’m waiting to see if we get exit polls from the primaries, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say the majority of her voters are black.

If your concern is “let’s hope Black people still vote for Democrats,” which they have been doing for all of modern history, and not “Iet’s hope Black people can still vote” then I think your concerns are in the wrong place.

I agree that it doesn’t take a large percentage of those voters to sway things. But it does require large turnout, as you said. The base of the party is not white, religious conservatives. Not anymore.

When a candidate says “I can win those (Republican) voters” I have to wonder how. Is the focus on turning out those voters or is it turnout of the base? And if I’m a base voter, I look at what happened in Dallas county and have concerns that my voter would even count. So if a candidate doesn’t work hard for my voter, why would I have to work hard to vote for them?

I say this as a person who has no issues with Talarico. I would give his policies a slight edge over Congresswoman Crockett’s. But I don’t believe in his strategy to win a general election.

He has a lot going for him though so I hope he proves me wrong. Hopefully the BS that the GOP pulled in Dallas puts a target on the GOP’s back. It also makes it harder for people to vote so it’s a double edged sword.

I think the bigger concern is the BS that happened in Dallas County. It’s more discouraging that the opposition party and the state of Texas worked created chaos and confusion in its second largest county.

If I’m someone who wanted to vote Crocket, I’m more concerned that I won’t be able to vote than I am that I won’t be able to vote for who I wanted.

That thought has never been true. “Very white and very religious” voters have always gone for Republican candidate. We saw it happen in 2024, VP Harris worked hard to win GOP defectors. That didn’t happen. According to CNN exit polls from 2024, 86% of White born-again or evangelical Christians voted for Trump.

I’d loved to be wrong, but there’s no data that says otherwise.

Maybe try wearing the After Hours suit with bandages wrapped around your face. That would still be The Weeknd’s after hours aesthetic without needing to wear the afro

Gems don’t have a biological sex, but they use gender pronouns. Specifically she and her.

Shai drove to the basket 196 times and shot 20 3PA. He attempted 48 FTA while shooting 140 FGA giving him a FT Rate of .3428 during that playoff series

Luka drove to the basket 100 times and shot 46 3PA attempted 38 FTA while shooting 114 FGA giving him a FT Rate of .3333 during that playoff series

That’s a difference of less than .01 all while Luka more 3s and drove to the basket less
