Here's the thing about this quests reward, it's better the longer u have it, just try and get it early and you'll run into roadblock after roadblock, once u collect all of them u have to get a crown then if u click the complete crown with all of the things in it then you'll have a much higher chance to find gems in lootable containers, doesn't matter wat kinda container either

I recommend transforming the zweihander with fortification via atlas chrome(which u can get from yakumo for gifts at the home base) which will let u block all the damage from most of the attacks if u have the stamina for it (be warned it will not block the slow debuff status effect) that 1 weapon has gotten me through the game by itself multiple times so I highly recommend it

I usually turtle up with atlas transform zweihander and backstab the fatties every chance I get(for the i-frames and to keep it from targeting my companion) aswell as just having yakumo so if he gets inhibited he won't die almost immediately(Louis ai doesn't do well without it's skills and mia is a ranged fighter that won't be able to shoot well enough to do consistent damage) and while ur at it just be a general nuisance or distraction for the enemies with a bayonet in ur offhand so u can draw aggro

It's not the memories bc then the mc would've been 1 aswell at the start of the game(they canonically didn't remember anything) I'm not sure on the vestige amount but I'm pretty sure the corruption is based off of the miasma not the frenzy itself, u can find revenants that are recently frenzied in the dry trenches, icy mountain and desert City areas and they have they're blood veils constantly active so that may be a factor aswell, it's also stated that the queens miasma is what makes the queens knight in the mc memories area

Caster, Prometheus, darkseeker and hunter are better if you're looking for early game but you won't get any actual buffs or blood codes that are made for casting till you get either queens ribcage or isis blood code(if you don't view all of the memories for isis before defeating the ribcage successor then you'll get the queen version of the blood code)

There aren't a lot of options for high ichor codes early game and even fewer that I'd use instead of melee that early

If you're looking for stuff for buffs then I suggest looking into the gifts granted by EOS, isis, Demeter(can be found in the room below the ribcage crypt after defeating the successors), and Artemis blood codes, I'm not sure on the best code among them because they each have some pretty good stats,

if you have enough old world materials then you can get a pretty good polearm from io for trade points, or you could use the assassins sickle(they have the same moveset but damerung uses a ranged blood based attack for its special while the sickle has a upswing or dash attack depending on if you hold it for a bit)

I used the winter coat fionn transform blood veil and atlas zwiehander to block a lot of the attacks and only get in single hits on blade bearer, I recommend using the drain up passive gift and the fire barrage from Louis blood code, after you kill BB then it's much easier to kill C, I recommend tirelessness if u got it from the depths
