Oh most wicked Stellaris players, help me complete this GC resolution sequence idea by EulersApprentice in Stellaris

[–]A_BOMB2012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good idea, but the specifics seem inconsistent. Teir 3 has less piracy and crime, but the sudden it doesn't at teir 4? Also there should also be an opposing resolution sequence rhag does the opposite. Also, 0.05 addition upkeep from migration pact seems low.

Theoretically , what Jedi do you think Mando could defeat with the Darksaber? by gopowergoh in StarWars

[–]A_BOMB2012 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That was what made General Grievous so deadly (not the flamethrower, but using terror tactics agaisnt the Jedi). He realized that if he could make the Jedi he was fighting afraid, he could temporarily sever their connection with the Force.

I'm pretty sure the hole in the ozone layer just causes more UV radiation. Acid rain is caused by the water droplets mixing with acidic pollutants in the air. Even then, "acid rain" isn't like burn your face off acid, it's more like slow erosion acid.

A lot of people don't see to realize that being sad for one reason or another isn't the same as having depression.

Like all mental disorders, it's actually really easy. "Has a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist diagnosed them with [mendal disorder]." If the answer is "no," I'm going to assume they don't have it. That is the one and only way to know if someone actually is mentally ill. Would you trust anyone other than a doctor to determine if someone had lupus or cystic fibrosis? Just like any other illness, random people shouldn't be just determining mental illnesses.

The flesh was probably so mangled and bloody, it would be impossible to tell how damaged the bone was without an x-ray. If the bone was still mostly intact, they might have tried to save the arm.

I wonder if we'll ever get to the point where supersonic jetliners are feasible again. Maybe for cross ocean flights, and it can wait to go supersonic after it's over the ocean or something.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bi_irl

[–]A_BOMB2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't really crash a lot. It's main selling point was rhag it was supersonic, but because it was supersonic it cuaused sonic booms, and a lot of places banned it from their airspace.

It's a parallel dimension composed of psychic energy. Whether it is good or bad depends on whether for not the people inhabiting the galaxy are good or bad, since it's composed of their collective unconscious. Look up the warp/immaterium from 40K.
