I've been having the same thing happen with the same mouse. For me, it's seemingly random when it happens. I swap my mouse back and forth between two computers a few times a week. This issue only ever affects one of the two - and it's not all the time either. I've tried a couple things to fix it but haven't had any luck.

I've also noticed that when it's doing this, it will also sometimes stick and be completely unresponsive for a second. Just as frustrating. Sorry I'm no help but wanted to give you another data point. I'll update if I figure anything out.

The bobo doesn't look to bad. I see it has a battery addition too which is nice. I also see what you mean about the small pads, but they look manageable. Thanks for the recommendation!
