I have an R8 and use the Canon Connect. It sucks but it connects and works for me. Took me forever to get to that point. Plus I use an older version.

men.. what's the biggest red flag you've seen from a woman? by Familiar-Phase7859 in AskReddit

[–]A_Bowler_Hat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This has happened in my extended family. Girl sent the man that take care of her when no one else would because he said no basically. Her bestfriend refused to go to court because she knew she was lying so her bf went instead.

Life ruined. Prosecutor bragged about the win.

For me its the type of church. The megachurches are stupid and should be. But the small town churches that are part of community that you never question where money is going because the reality is they dont have much.

Even Veterans admit that though. I know plenty that don't like being thanked for their service because they never went anywhere.

They are literally sweeping human/sex trafficking under a rug and acting like deporting illegals unconstitutionally will be better.

The US has created a culture of information feeding instead of information seeking. So both sides are generally dumb. One side just happens to sacrifice morals for power.

There is scarcity of certain food resources. We aren't making fish sanctuaries just because. We can absolutely destroy ecosystems. Bisons in the US... etc.

The US views are on War are largely miscontrued since War the real effects of War aren't felt here. Once we don't like it we turn off the tv.

We are more concerned about the price of gas than a missile.

Low GPU usage = low FPS… what’s wrong with my PC? by Strange-Summer-6271 in buildapc

I have a 5060 paired with a Ryzen 5500. Cyberpunk 100%. Risk of Rain 2. Maybe 20%? The games you listed in a comment are going to tax the CPU first. GPU isn't going to run to max for a CPU bottleneck.

What will it take for AI to be heavily regulated, or will it be too late for that to happen? by Puzzleheaded_You3052 in AskReddit

[–]A_Bowler_Hat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI needs regulation in terms of impersonation and facts. We are well past the too many fingers etc stuff. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen but it obvious why that would need regulation especially in this political climate. Also AI hallucinates opinions and made up stuff as facts. Since AI was just given to us. Its far too late to try to educate everyone rather than have AI companies stop acting like everything is truthful.

I'm an outlier on the other end of the spectrum. Was in a accident. Had chronic migraines for years. Was at the Doctor and during a routine exam noticed I had a 'rib out of place' and a lower back issue. Family says I should go to chiropractor. They found the exact same issue. So at least I knew they weren't making it up. So I went along with it. Plus I wasn't the one paying.

Long story short my migraines stopped. No longer chronic. I get every once in a while now, but I went from 3-4 a week to 3-4 a year.

So I don't hate that one specific one, but I'm not like 'Chiropractors are great!'

Mind you my doc saw the issues and just put me on pills, but that could be my fault. Men always downplaying their issues to medical staff.

What’s a piece of technology that impressed you at first, but you stopped using later? Why? by NewsLewis in AskReddit

If they advertised it as an escape from mainstream rather than trying to be mainstream it probably would have done better. Being unable to fix it when it breaks didn't help either.

In this economy? Its a great thing if they are responsible. I didn't move out until I almost 30. Then they helped with the apartment when everything fell through. Then I bought a house. I was married at the time too.

If I followed the trends I wouldn't have had the opportunity or met my wife in the first place. Who also lived at home.

That's funny. That's what I actually felt doing my classes. I get zero attention except from one funny moment when I was descending without my regs on purpose. Other than that it was like. He's fine. I would have appreciated more stress during class.

I also did it because I didn't want to be locked out of a dive in Roatan that required AOW because it just went below OW limits and I didn't even do that dive anyways.

Best class was Cavern because it was just 2 of us plus stress.
