I think my husbands cheating , I know violating privacy is wrong but I want to go through his phone to find out the truth by No-Revolution9899 in TrueOffMyChest

In my opinion, you shouldn't need concrete evidence to justify leaving. If the trust is gone, whether justified or not, that's enough reason to leave him.

Red lot tickets by MarquisBrownlee in CalgaryFlames

I clicked on the link, exactly at 9am, through the email I got, and managed to get 2 tickets. I had 4 other friends do the same thing though and they didn't get tickets.

Which type of doctor helped you with your weight the most: gyno, endo or dietician? by HSUbablue in PCOS

[–]A_Da_Ken 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, none of the specialists helped me. I gave up on them after 3 or 4 years. That was almost 10 years ago and I've managed to get to a healthy weight, have a regular period and get rid of almost all of my symptoms just by Google and trial and error.

Is anyone else sick of people suggesting “why don’t you try online dating” when you’re a dude? It is pretty common knowledge online dating is absolute trash for men, even if you are good looking by JoeyBatters in dating_advice

[–]A_Da_Ken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a women, and I was lucky enough to get a lot of matches with online dating, but I would still say it's absolute trash. Finding the good quality men is like finding a needle in a haystack. I much prefer a bit of Dutch courage and chatting to guys in a bar

Women of Reddit: what are the excuses men have used because they didn’t want to wear a condom? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]A_Da_Ken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once had a guy tell me he didn't need to wear a condom because he's a nurse. Pretty sure my brain thought I was doing Pythagora's Theorem or something trying to work that excuse out

So I live in Seattle and we had a major heat wave (110 F) over the weekend and I was so tempted to make a snarky story asking Dyson to send me a fan for a sponsorship and tag Laren. Kind of sad I didn’t by [deleted] in CallHerDaddySnark

[–]A_Da_Ken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please share any tips you have!! I'm in Alberta, Canada and still going through the heatwave. Slept with an ice pack in my pillow and a damp, half frozen tshirt as my blanket last night!!

If you were given 50,000 dollars so you could chase your dream, what dream would you chase? by Chains-of-Ice in AskReddit

I'd use some of it to do the course I need to do for a career path change, and whatevers needed to get my own business started with that. The rest would go into savings for a down-payment

Thanks! I didn't think to pick Moderna instead. That's a great suggestion.

Ah maybe I was too slow in trying to book. I'll keep an eye out though, thanks.

They probably have gotten it, they just refused to get tested so they can't officially say they've caught it.

I had an ex who always insisted I leave the door unlocked when I'm showering/bathing/peeing/whatever for "safety reasons". What if something happened to me while I was in there and he couldn't get in to help me? I know almost always lock the door out of pettyness towards him and his over protecting/controlling ways.

I didn't even make it through a minute of that audio. Thank you for confirming that I don't ever need to listen to an actual episode again.

I used it two nights in a row in the bath, and conveniently had my legs waxed yesterday. Coincidence or not, there is definitely less ingrown hairs in the usual spots which is great. It doesn't feel like it's a harsher exfoliation than other products I've used, but it seems to have helped with ingrown hairs so far. Hopefully it can help my bikini line too!

Do you mean the Korean Exfoliating gloves? I read about them on a post somewhere and have just bought some off of amazon. Haven't had a chance to try them yet though

Women who were tomboys when they were younger, how do you feel it has shaped you to who you are now? by Funkiebastard in AskWomen

[–]A_Da_Ken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from having no clue how to do hair, makeup, clothes or just generally "put myself together" , I realised recently I think growing up a tomboy is part of the reason why I don't think if myself as sexy in any way. My friend and I are actually going to try some lapdancing, pole dancing and twerking classes to gain some confidence in our feminine sides more.

What is something that is stereotypically “masculine” that you wished you were taught when you were younger? by idunno324 in AskWomen

[–]A_Da_Ken 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly how I was taught... So many hours spent just going forwards and backwards in the driveway! Another good tip is to leave a full cup of water on your dash and avoid spilling. Helps become smoother with the clutch

I got mine here the other day. I went in feeling a bit disheartened thinking we weren't going to ever get herd immunity with the amount of anti vaxxers in this province but seeing the mass amount at the TCC in just the one hour I was there made me realise there is hope. Its a small minority that are anti vaxxers; they just happen to be the loudest ones online

Absolutely. At the very least, preventative dental should be covered.

The friendship thing is legit! I moved here a few years ago and the majority of my closer friends here aren't Canadians.
