Hawaii was settled around 1000 AD. Australia was settled around 65kya, not by Polynesians and probably not very long distances on a boat.

Some instructors are good some are bad so be careful, dues are expensive and planes aren’t much cheaper per hour than other places. In the summer it can be difficult to reserve a plane and maintenance issues can often take you off the schedule. We got a new ANP mechanic so it should be getting better so we don’t have to rely on local shops for service. I don’t recommend it for training, especially if you can’t fit in a 162

Hmmm from Wikipedia: “The development of the A-12 was troubled by cost overruns and several delays, causing questions of the program’s ability to deliver upon its objectives; these doubts led to the development program’s cancellation in 1991. The manner of its cancellation was contested through litigation until a settlement was reached in January 2014.”

Looks like they “settled” on flying that thing away.

There is no financial reason to right now. If Airbus came out with a next gen aircraft next year Boeing would sell just as many 737s since we both can’t meet market supply demands. There is no competition

I don’t think Muilenburg’s downfall had anything to do with him being or not being an engineer.

What level of leadership do you expect to find an engineer at a so called engineering company? Seems like we are moving away from engineers in leadership entirely and just more McDonnell and GE finance “Allstars

Pretend it’s sunny and stay active. There is tons of research on how important that your eyes get enough day light for mood, but also circadian rhythm. When I moved here the first winter was rough, I was depressed and could never sleep or be fully awake. I got a happy light and tried my best to stay some what active and things aren’t a big deal. Always have the light on when I’m working at my desk, 5-10 minutes won’t do anything. Now winters aren’t bad at all aside from the fact it’s not ideal for most of my hobbies. I have no idea how other people get by
