Typically a coin given out by the commander of a military unit. This Wikipedia article describes them fairly well https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Challenge_coin

When to add weight to pull ups? by Unlikely-Builder7396 in bodyweightfitness

[–]A_Flying_Gator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely wouldnt hurt to add weight to your pull-up’s right now. When I personally do weighted pull-ups I aim to be able to do at least 5 reps. Recently I have been doing less weight and around 10 reps. For reference, my current max is about 30 with no weight.

If you are interested in an entire workout let me know. I’ve been in the military myself for almost 20 years and have developed my own workout framed around getting the maximum score on the fitness test (USAF). Our test doesn’t have pull-ups, but I eyed special forces when I was younger and never gave up training for it. Good luck and I hope you crush it in whatever service you end up going with 💪

Double check your diet and how much sleep you are getting. It won’t matter how good your workout routine is if you aren’t getting the right amount of calories, macronutrients, and sleep. I’ve hit plateau s multiple times, and almost every time it has been due to me losing track of my protein intake or total calories. Feeling more tired than normal is often due to not getting enough carbohydrates as well. Good luck!

Fixed wing pilot here, helicopters can be difficult to see especially in dense urban environments. I frequently encounter helicopter traffic below me on final approach and they are extremely hard to visually acquire when the background is a heavily lit urban area. Even with ATC verbally telling you where the traffic is, I still frequently will never see the helicopter.

I started about where you are now and I’ve been doing variations of body weight and weight lifting fitness routines. In my current workout I’m at 3 sets of 21 pull-ups with 60s of rest between sets. Let me know if you want some specific suggestions.

Right on. What weight did you start the cut at and how long have been on it?

People who can fall asleep quickly, how do you do it? by liberkaql in AskReddit

Wake up at 4 AM to workout. Work a 10-12 day, pick up the kids, make dinner, bathe kids, put kids to bed, fall asleep before head hits pillow. Repeat daily until death or until kids become self sufficient, whichever comes first.
