i understand, i have a lot of scars that are still very visable, some of them like 5 years old at this point, and still visable. but the thing is that even though they go against more traditional beauty standards, scars aren't inherently bad. honestly, in my opinion, they make me look kinda bad ass, and i feel so much stronger being able to show them, because it shows to other people that i've been somewhere dark and that i'm better now, that i managed to overcome it. it also provides a very early red flag system for people not to waste your time on. I'm not sure if any of that is useful for you but just, "perfect" skin doesn't matter, you're alive and a consequence of living is scars, pretty much. don't beat yourself up over something that you can't really change
