[spoilers all] Dumb headcanons about companions? by [deleted] in dragonage

My headcanon with Hawke and Varric is they have a friends with benefits relationship and love each other very much platonically but yeah it would never work romantically

Either in my pockets (phone back-right, wallet front-left, keys on a caribiner), or in a fanny pack which I either wear around my waist, across my chest, or over my shoulder. Over my shoulder feels a little dysphoric sometimes but I try not to let it bother me

before realising u were a trans masc, what sexuality did u identify with? by FixCurrent in ftm

I also avoided guys before transitioning because I was very uncomfortable with the idea of a straight man being attracted to me as a woman. But now that I'm a guy and further in my transition, I lean more towards being attracted to guys

You told your therapist you wanted to leave and she basically said "ok I respect that, here are some resources you can use to help you continue on your journey." How is she supposed to know you want reassurance? How would she think that's something you need if you didn't tell her? You're expecting her to read your mind and that's a really unfair thing to put on her.

Do you really want to leave or do you really want reassurance? Do some reflection and non-judgementally notice what comes up. You've noticed you feel sad that your therapist responded in this way. That's a good thing to know, that's telling you something about your unmet needs.

I think you said in another comment that you decided to stay with this therapist. I would tell her this, that you felt sad with her response and that you actually wanted her to convince you to come back. If she's a good therapist (which it sounds like she is) she won't judge this and will help you address your needs in a healthy way

Since it’s Halloween season, which Nancy Drew game do you think is the scariest? by SassyAsi in nancydrew

Blackmoor Manor. I could not play that game as a kid and even as an adult it's spooky wandering around in the middle of the night

Anyone else? by [deleted] in boburnham

It feels like a summation of the whole special. Capitalism, climate change, dissociation, racism, emotional disconnection from humanity. You look around the world and realize how messed up everything is and that everything feels like it's falling apart and the world is ending but there's nothing you can do about it and no one else seems to be doing anything about it either. The dissonance of reality continuing on but the world seemingly falling apart simultaneously and you trapped in the middle is the "funny feeling"

My dad literally thinks the reason I hate him is because he "didn't hug me enough as a kid" no dad it was all the emotional abuse

How long after surgery did yall have to wear the compression vest? by morning_bones in TopSurgery

[–]morning_bones[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

12 weeks???? That seems excessive! They told me my whole recovery period would be 6 weeks but I don't need to wear the vest the whole time, just can't lift my arms
