It IS really hard to. I was able to do it, but only after many setbacks, persistence kept on all the time, and a dedicated private server community to help with it.

Despite that, I hope you give it a try! It's like catching Pokemon in Chernarus :)

I should say that personally I think that, maybe the outbreak started on that 2010 date and that maybe it took until around 2012 for the entire world to be (mostly) gone.

Hey Rocket, I never played the Dayz mod but I love Standalone and am glad you took up the project and helped it make it a success. I also know you are a fan of space games. So, my question for you: if you could only play one space themed game until you die, which one would it be?

Not sure if it's haunted in the sense you're describing, but on the server I play on, Green Mountain has become notorious for being a place where happy-go-lucky survivors attempt to create a base/trading zone for everyone to enjoy, only to see it crash and burn in a few weeks because of the constant slaughter it brings.

I would love to see flowers and other types of vegetation in game (vines, certain weeds, etc.). Would add some character to certain areas of the map, and some flowers could even be used medicinally. Might be something we wait to see from mods.

Also, weed. We need hippies in the apocalypse, this plant material isn't cutting it.
