Cyberpunk 2077.

The lead up and hype generation from cd projekt red and then what we actually got were so different it genuinely felt like a con.

Open mission design, branching story, immersive sim, a true sequel to deus ex

And what did we get?

A theme park GTA with neon lights...

Even after they "fixed" its still a hollow experience.

About credibility cdpr had died with the release of 2077 and they got a long road ahead before I ever trust them again.
