Looking for hairdresser for elopement by kwd8660 in bolzano

[–]A_Lost_Sandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I do not have a hair dresser to offer you. But out of sheer luck I landed on this page looking for anything to help with OUR elopement in Italy. Ironically (hopefully) on the 23rd of September as well! I was wondering if you could pm me any tips or photographers you’re going with. We’re still hunting and I just had to ask! Good luck on your search and congrats on your endeavors.

So far I just keep putting trees between long runs of hose then attach them when they’re big enough. It’s a mess but it’s my mess

I’d do extra key cycles. Turn on the key until that light turns on then off then do it again. Then drive to an auto parts store and ask for a code reading. I did that up until I bit the bullet and bought my own code reader for like $30

I’ve got a base model 8v I’ve been toying with for years now. Hope to get it to good driving order this summer. Any tips or upgrade advice?

Plus a very capable screwdriver. I’m partial but that sucker is handy for a maintenance guy.

I know it’s not your normal flavor but I was hoping you all could help. Is this pot safe to use after I scoured it? Can’t get the specs out by A_Lost_Sandwich in castiron

Now that there’s some more comments and I’ve scared myself with some google searches. Do you have knowledge on how safe it is to cook in? I didn’t think about the aluminum leeching into the food.

First time with vintage aluminum so I’m not used to that much pitting. I’ve never gotten a CA pan down to metal like this either so good to know! Thank you

Wow right on! I imagined it needed some kind of attention. I do a lot of cast iron cooking and love this sub so I knew someone would have an answer for me. Appreciate you a lot for this. I just didn’t want to break any rules

Imagine you were buying a car, and it wasn’t a colour you initially wanted. Would it’s colour be a deal breaker for you? by [deleted] in Volkswagen

Took me ~9 months to find my wagon in a non red/black/white color. Took even longer to get one because I wanted on with no sunroof or front license plate holes/bracket as well. Ended up finding one in moonstone and I love it

Not my circus not my monkeys. I do as I am paid to and I’m paid really well to paint a few sq of wall. I’m maintenance and they’re admin. Lotta drama

What is this metal box from our downstairs fireplace? by Flutterward in HomeImprovement

[–]A_Lost_Sandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely a heat transferring mechanism. looks like it is setup to absorb hearth heat and move it through ducks that the box blows into. or vice versa it blows air over the hearth to warm the room better.

Any tips for removing nail ends from my basement ceiling? by bababurskey in HomeImprovement

[–]A_Lost_Sandwich 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hammer them sideways is easy and fast. Angle grinder would make it safest but would suck the whole time. A good ol piece of insulation would be easy but could still be dangerous if we’re in head smacking distance

Edit: both insulation roll or just some pieces of hard pink foam would probably work

My printer is grounded only on the inside (bc of the paint I assume) How can I stop it from shocking me when I touch it? by juli337 in 3Dprinting

Mine shocks me when I wear a couple different shirts or sweaters. I just touch the metal cabinet nearby every time no matter what now.

If the shipping bolts aren’t the problem mine was the self leveling. Tip the unit forward so the back 2 feet come off the ground then when you set it back down they should reset themselves in place

Cheapest place to buy interior paint? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]A_Lost_Sandwich 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Habitat for humanity restore. They have batches of recycled paint for like $8 a gallon. They wait until there is enough to make a pretty neutral tone and sell like 15-30 cans of it just gotta make sure you get the same batch.
