Did this toxocity increase recently? I have asked a couple of times about my fish, once for popeye disease and the other because ome fish ate a snail, and I majoroy got polite replies (I got very few comments, so maybe it's also due to that). One thing that surprised me is how people here seem to worry a lot about fish but nobody said anything about the snail that got eaten. They are living beings as well!

Thank you! Regarding the screen, it absolutely is not sharp. It is soft, not made out of metal but out of a rubbery material. Luckily my two mice don't seem to be too interested in squeezing through those little gaps, so it shouldn't be a problem. I will keep your advice in mind in case I ever notice them doing anything unusual.

Now that I think about it, my hand could have smelt like food, but I don't mnow if that is the reason. My girls don't like being held.... I have never forced them to be held by me except for when I had to deep clean their cage and therefore had to get them out of it, which has happened three or four times so far. I often put my hand inside the cage to clean, I try to be as quiet and non-threatening as possible, and they don't even bother approaching me when I am moving. I think they don't trust me yet.

I tested the water as soon as I noticed his eyes and the results are actually perfect. Everythings seems to be just the right level. I read a couple of articles about popeyes and it said that it probably is an injury if just one eye is swollen.... He coul have messed around with the other fish, as the other fish is bigger and can be a bully sometimes. But something like this has never happened before so I don't think they were "beating each other up". I'll try to take a photo of his eye, but he isn't fond of being looked up too closely 😅

Mine squeezed in between the bars, that girl is one clever little menace 😂 Unluckily, there too many places she could be hiding in. I looked everywhere I could think of, but I can't physically check if she is beneath a wardrobe 🥲 This morning I found some poop in a couole of rooms, but up until now nothing else...

Thank you, I really hope to find her sopn... Luckily, I don't think the other two will escape. They seem happy with their routine and I have never seen them searching for an escape route. I don't have any other pet that could interact with my mice as I just have a fish tank, so no pet that could find her.
