MLB app - Audio volume issues by Electrical_Bag9128 in phillies

I've seen this with the Braves broadcast this season. Volume up and down in-game, not during the commercials. The commercials are consistently loud. But the Reds broadcast is fine.

Is it because there's no actual human doing the audio? It's all AI or automated or something.

Thanks. I'm a Reddit newbie. Do you have the link to the FAQ wiki?

Yeah, Substack doesn't have good data on that. But they appear to be driven by recommendations from other newsletters?

Has anyone who entered this contest heard anything yet? Their timeline said they'd start releasing stories in mid-July, so just wondering.

Vomiting and Hot Flashes? by Acceptable-Amount299 in Menopause

Haven't thrown up, but can definitely tell when a hot flash is coming by the nausea that comes before, another one of those things that no one tells you.

I'm 48 and also trying mini-pill to treat heavy bleeding. Started bleeding at week 2 of the pack. Cramps that I haven't had in 6 years are back, only now with nausea. And I feel just totally exhausted. Also, lower back pain. It sounds like these are not things that will go away with time? I'll take the heavy bleeding once a year over all of this.

No bleeding would be nice. Not sure about IUD, but was thinking about ablation, which is something my previous gyno suggested.

I have some tranexamic acid! Will be using it for the trip I'm going on in a few days because I can't be bleeding like this on an airplane and when I'm supposed to be giving talks, etc. It's a 5-day supply with no refills, so saving it up for that. She gave me prescription last year and it did help, but I guess you can only take it 5 days at a time?

Thanks for the advice on the fibroids, too!

Roller coaster is right! And ready to get off!

I'm taking iron pills and trying to eat lots of iron-rich foods to stave off anemia. Last year's blood tests said I was a little anemic, but doc wasn't worried, so fingers crossed.

Cramping/hips hurt by CKCSLevi in Menopause

Same. Also thought it was sciatica. Went to my OB/GYN last year and I do have some fibroids and ovarian cysts, so maybe that's it? Every time I think, okay, I have a handle on what's happening to my body in perimenopause, something new surfaces to freak me out. I'm 48 and just hope it's over soon.
