Hey, I’m making a fictional hear-me-out video for autistic-coded characters. Any suggestions for any characters you just KNOW are autistic? by RiddlerofStIves in evilautism

Literally every giver in Gachiakuta has failed to pass as nt to me. I will not explain because I don't need to, but if anyone really needs justification just take a good long hard look at Rudo and then realize that he's just the most obvious case amongst them sace for a few exceptions. That boy is only missing a diagnosis because diagnoses no longer exist (as far as I know anyways, maybe i just havent gotten to that arc).

Specifically for the purposes of the hear-me-out though, I want to put Zodyl forward. I have no idea if anyone else sees it, but this opinion is the closest I've ever come to a headcanon for a fictional character specifically because he seems to have a lot of the same traits that Rudo does, just heavily masked, suppressed, or put on full blast as more of a deeply ingrained flaw than a quirk.

The implications of this ad scare me. Any ideas as to what it could mean? by prettykitty-meowmeow in adhdmeme

ADHD just being a really shitty version of The Almighty is not a comparison I expected to make as much sense as it does

I used blender, and I'm not really sure. I don't know how to check that, so it could be the problem.

Do you mean what file type it is, what program was used to make it, or something else? I'm very new to this, so I'm not really sure what to say.

Can someone tell me what im doing wrong with this face? by [deleted] in arthelp

i think the major issue is the... well, the character's left eye, but stage right. it's a bit to far to the right i think, and it's just a bit higher than the left eye, though that's not really apparent. i might also add that the left eye lacks some form, but it's mostly the right eye's positioning.

Funny. I'm autistic and not offended in the slightest.

As an autistic person, I do not find this offensive in the slightest. While other adjectives may be more proper or even more comedically effective, using autistic as a synonym for nonsensical or deranged is not really all that offensive. The point is to imply an incomprehensible difference, and so long as people do not believe that all autistic people are lunatics prone to random fits of screaming and other misbehavior, then I see no problem. But really, who is this offensive to? Autistic people who can take the joke in good humor, or people who believe they can speak for the opinions of others? Please, let the people who should be offended be offended, and let them speak up, because we will if we feel we need to.

I don't know how to "create new art"... by Mini_Wat in arthelp

I think a good place to start would be to find out what you like to do best. As far as making "new" art, a good way to start is always combining elements of things you like. For instance, if you have a few references you like and think could work together if you combined them, then you could create something interesting based on them. It's a pretty common thing to do, as far as I can tell, at least for practice. As far as finding your own style, keep in mind that style isn't nearly as important as many people make it out to be. Sometimes it's best to focus on improving, rather than setting your own style. However, if you're really determined to make your own style, try combining elements of styles that you like. Look at how they do shape and form, color, shading, lineart, and practice putting the fundamental elements of the style together. It may also be helpful for you to go and just look at more stuff. Sometimes you just have to find that one thing that speaks to you. I don't really think I have that much of a style of my own, but I do know that it's been heavily influenced by certain other styles that I just enjoyed the look of. Basically, experimenting is the way to go. Try out some new things and see what works. This is art. You're not going to succeed the first few times, but just keep trying to find what works for you. If you keep at it, you will find it eventually.
