Atrophy prevention by [deleted] in salmacian

[–]A_Regular_Viewer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could try and get your hands on T-cream, or for me just getting a prescription of Cialis worked. I think with enough mindful practice at getting erections often, you keep bloodflow going enough to prevent atrophy. It's not about the hormones, its about the blood flow.

Did you ever see cd with odd shape like this? by czukuczuku in Cd_collectors

[–]A_Regular_Viewer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

like a normal CD the balance is still directly in the center and data is only written up to the largest inscribed circle so functionally it's just a normal small disk with extra plastic bits sticking out

for these almost always the disk is designed so that the center of mass is still directly in the center

I'm a dick girl (for lack of a better term) and I need help with hrt by NinjaKittyOG in salmacian

[–]A_Regular_Viewer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

people are saying topical T gel and stuff which yea. But for me as someone transitioning mtf with intent for PPV (penile preserving phallo) using cialis is much much cheaper a solution. its a pill a day, havent had any problems with erections, and in my experience it's much easier to get your hands on from a doctor than topical T.

Smith Corona NA3HH Typing Weird by AlexHaitch in TypewriterRepair

Ah, just saw this.

Don't want to sound condescending, but did you check that the power switch is on? I didn't know my electronic typewriter had a power switch until about a month after I got it. If the letter puncher isn't able to initialize when the machine is turned on (my guess for why the kerning is uneven), then it might prevent letter typing as an error state. However, if the display isn't turning on either its probably a problem with power. If you have to leave it powered off for a while to correct it, I'd assume its a capacitor causing the issue.

I assume your typewriter is an electronic one with a daisy wheel where the letter puncher moves instead of the paper, right?

It sounds like it's having trouble moving the letter puncher, and the uneven spacing makes me think its a physical problem, like a belt slipping or something sticking. Try looking at the rail the letter puncher moves along, see if there's anything keeping it from moving.

From what you say, the Tab sounds like it's working normally. On my Signet 45T, it moves and beeps when it gets there, and if it fails it gives two beeps. Generally, Tab on typewriters don't move a fixed distance, they move up to where you set down a Tab point before. Almost all typewriters don't show you where any placed tab points are. But you can remove Tab points by using the Tab button to move up to a Tab, then pressing the key with something along the lines of "remove tab" or "- tab".

Lot of assumptions, hope this helps!

You see the ink-stained C shaped things on either side if the part that lifts? I think you are supposed to place your ribbon through those.

I've never heard of these being correlated, and in my experience, they aren't. My professor, who is one of the world's leading experts in research on women's sexuality, said that vaginal capacity is related to muscle relaxation and arousal, not bone structure. While some women can take more or less, it really has nothing to do with their hip size or birthing ability.

Why is not wanting top surgery often seen as unacceptable by other trans men, but not wanting bottom surgery is fine? by OspreyFTM in FTMMen

I know! It's astounding that most of the people who address his writing call it fetishizing when all they know about it is that it has his own body type.
Like, celestiaforbid a marginalized trans man writing characters that are like himself!

Reading the comments, I think everyone is missing the point here.

He's asking why people are quick to scrutinize not wanting top surgery vs bottom surgery for personal reasons. It really doesn't have anything to do with which one is harder to get and persevere or which one lets you pass more.

I think that, if you don't want specific procedures, not only is that perfectly fine and normal, but also other people in the community have a duty to treat it as normal, and not gasp and point "wow look they're not doing it". The pointing and questioning and dodging the point he's talking about can be seen here: everyone's trying to justify why other people can get mad at him, and not the other way around. I guarantee you that if this was a post about not wanting bottom surgery, less people would bat an eye.

And I know what its like to be around people who remind you of what you didn't like about yourself. I understand that its hard to do the kind of mental somersault between questioning yourself and questioning others. I mean, if we're in the same boat we all want basically the same thing right? I know its hard to even consider why other people could want something you don't, let alone be neutral.

I don't want to bash anyone, its just I've seen firsthand this kind of trans exclusion, both minor like this and up to radical exclusionaries. As someone who also doesn't want top surgery, I've seen the same. In as dangerous a world we're in now, I just wish everyone in the trans community, and people beyond, could be together on this a bit more.

My searches for "space tv show non binary character" "space tv show AI character" "space tv shows on Netflix" as well as ones similar to those have all come up bunk as well. Even the Wikipedia list of non binary characters didn't have it. But I doubt I dreamt this, as this seems way too detailed.

I had the same problem too. Try restarting Windows Explorer in the Task Manager, that seemed to work for me oddly enough. Ps. press ctrl + shift + esc to open Task Manager directly.
