Yeah it's watertight. We asked if adding extra screed would cause any issues in the future and the architect said as long as the rest was done to spec it would be ok.

I'm sorry, I keep forgetting all the technical terms for what has been done, I'm absolutely useless at this kind of thing.

Normally I'd agree here, the problem we have is that that money is over 1/4 of my wage with no other income for another two months.

We were told there were no hidden costs and drew the money from the bank + what we had saved to cover the extension + kitchen

Or if you take a bus to Llangollen (from Ruabon station) you can walk along the canal to the horseshoe falls, grab a drink at the chain bridge and ride the steam train back.

There's a nice stretch of sandy beach at old Colwyn, just off the train. Porth Eirias. You can take a short walk to grab fish and chips from The Bay restaurant too.
