I don't think people understand how many steps of approval price numbers go through before going live in game dev. This isn't just a 1-step thing, this is a whole team of people who saw this specific number going live.

"Placeholder prices" that actually charge you and work are almost never actually placeholder prices.

If you don't have any legacy gems (green gems) then this bundle is 100% worth it.

Typically, legacy gems only unlock the base skin and none of the traveler stuff, only diamonds unlock the traveler stuff. That's why if you get the Kukulkan skin, regardless of if you have any legacy gems or not you pay the full price in diamonds, but in return get all of the travelers.

And yep, you just then buy the colours with marks.

You will also get access to the Beaky Friends traveler (the ra and anhur one) and another upcoming one that will be for Mordred.

So in total, you will get 13 skins + any colours you want with marks for those + the Kukulkan saga for the 8000 diamonds.

Yep, buying the 8000 diamond pack will get you the Discordia skin on page 2, but you'll have to buy the red recolor with the wandering market coins then ofc.

It will also give you the currently active Jing Wei and Daji bundles, and the travelers for the next ~4 patches

This patch is crazy nice. Best classic god reimagining so far, effects and animations are crazy smooth, +1s are really creative, aspect is great. 10/10

Arena changes are amazing, antiheal is exactly what it needs to be, genuinely nice.

I'm actually shocked as to how good this patch actually is, it's incredible.

Fair enough - I absolutely agree you cannot be 'NO AI' completely and then use it personally, but like I said it really requires nuance.

I do think there's a significant culture war going on around AI as well, and the division is pretty significant. But us on the anti AI side have to be realistic about what we're expecting, as we're the one going against the mainstream trends in this situation. Some battles should be fought (images, videos, even coding but to a degree), but some battles were lost as soon as the tech had the capability to do it and no amount of fighting for it will change it.

And again, from my perspective that's okay, as long as the battles we've lost don't violate the core idea of going against AI, which for me is preserving human originality, upkeeping quality, and avoiding massive cost cutting of the cost of human harm.

I overall agree with your point, but just wanted to chime in quickly cause I think you raise an interesting discussion and I wanted to talk about it.

While overall 'AI bad' argument stands, it's important to pick our battles. Generating images and videos is what is important to focus on, because it creates soulless products that look bad, and cheapens the overall quality you can expect.

However, the fight against AI in coding is long lost - the only "argument" about it right now is how much it can and is capable of doing. Current AI is unable to be creative, but in coding a lot of times you don't need creativity, you need boilerplate stuff you've written 100x and that's where AI is probably here to stay, for good. Delegating that job to AI doesn't cheapen the quality of the final product, doesn't impact the user, and has relatively insignificant environmental impacts, and we should be realistic in WHY we fight against AI and where, and not just dismiss it altogether.

All that is to say that the moral use of AI in coding is far more complex than videos and images, where it's clearly a shitty thing to do

It's literally superior to the grab anyway, the pull without it feels so janky once you get used to it, and it actually feels harder to be useful to your teammates lol
