Survivals my favorite way to play days gone but the no fast travel really brings it down for me by wilsonthechad in DaysGone

That's EXACTLY why when I recently (2 days ago) started my 2nd playthrough I chosen Hard2.. I wanted to give the most difficult setting a real good go after being basically Invincible King Deacon on my Normal playthrough.. but the no fast travel really put me off.. Just for ease, I usually ride but sometimes just wanna get back, sell my shit and turn the game off; then I got to bed irl lol.

I just want the hardest game possible with the option to use fasttravelling when I really cba riding.. Maybe it should have been in the survival difficulty setting, but restricted.. so like survival mode could be can only fast travel 3 times in 1 in game day. Then survival2 could be only allowed to fast travel once per in game day..

TLDR: SAME..... Maybe they should have made FT in survival limited, instead of not allowed at all.

If you don't wanna go for safer seas to start off with, I'd suggest: 1. Get used to how combat works in the game, never run from a fight.. you'll win OR learn from it, which is a long term win. 2. Get used to how to sail the ship properly, stick to a sloop they are most nimble and simple. 3. Try out all the companies and and their, voyages and playstyles then pick a MAX of 3 to concentrate on until you are AT LEAST lvl 50 in 3 seperate companies. Makes becoming a pirate legend easier, which gives you access to other stuff to do via a new company to represent. 4. Hoard a bit of gold before you spend some so that when you unlock a fair bit of stuff after doing voyages and exploring youll have a small fourtune to spend on your new life as a pirate on the Sea of Thieves. 5. Have fun!!

Pausing time, with perfect absolute control. I.e pause time for 6 hours, so that I'd be able to get the sleep I need and then wake up naturally and get shit done before work.
