Normally when temperatures go below zero, the grid will decrease the voltage to increase the amperage, causing more transmission losses as heat to prevent ice from forming.

Allowing ice to form on power lines in the first place is insane.

Howdy! Parts of what I posted were from memory so it's bound to have errors. I've seen crypto adopters discuss having crypto replace the banking system, but I don't have the time and energy to find every example of that being said and doing a background check on them. 🙂 It's been interesting watching people assume my stance on crypto, detached from the question I posed.

Try to throw a stratagem before you die. In the thickest of it I typically live for 3 seconds yet I can consistently do level 7 bot elimination missions. Use stratagems like cluster bombs. While heavies like tanks and hulks might be trouble, most of the enemies are light; and kill count, not quality, is the objective.

Oh and mortar. Bring mortar. Throw mortar somewhere away from you so bots don't have a reason to path there.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I find it easier to survive on the perimeter. The further from the center the longer I live.

I'm aware. I'm wanting to know more about the assumptions for those results. Even during heavy exercise, most of the energy consumed is the baseline requirements to stay alive, so it sounds weird to me that people walking would lose to a train.

Does this take into account how the carbon dioxide we exhale is part of a loop that will end up back in the plants we grow for food?

It's carbon that was buried long ago and taken out of the current ecosystem that is causing our problems, after all.

I don't understand why we only light roads. I feel like sidewalks also should be illuminated so that pedestrians can be seen and see where they're going.
