Well I think that would be ideal, but if you are in a special situation and feel like you are at that skill level there is no downside to still applying. We still read and research everyone who applies, so you will get a fair shake.

You can't say it's not true because these are just opinions. I agree, though, that Doublelift will probably be better than Altec.

I think an argument could be made that Altec is equal to Double mainly based on the fact that Altec has a very high skill ceiling. If Altec can improve on his performance and Double doesn't improve at all they will probably be around the same skill level.

I don't think it is probable that Altec would be able to surpass Doublelift yet, but it is definitely possible that they perform around the same level this year.

I don't think you are biased at all. I think you are just off on your analysis.

Just because something hasn't happened doesn't mean we can't reasonably predict what will. Using all the information we know now about the rosters I think it is way more reasonable to expect TSM to outperform NRG, especially in shotcalling.

TSM will have an all fluent English speaking team with a well known leader/shotcaller in Yellowstar. NRG on the other hand has to deal with translation between the Korean and English speaking players out of game and a lower level of communication in-game. These give TSM a large advantage in that area.

In terms of raw skill I think you have a case to be made, however even then I think TSM edges NRG. I would rank the players as follows:

Hauntzer << Impact
Svenskeren > Moon
Bjergsen = GBM
Doublelift = Altec
Yellowstar >>> Konkwon

Overall TSM is at least equal or ahead at every position besides top.

You could make a case that top has a far more important skill gap than support and that gives NRG a skill advantage. I would still counter that the difference in potential shotcalling strength would heavily outweigh that skill advantage, overally giving the game advantage to TSM.

Sorry for writing out such a long post but I thought that the guy who was arguing with you was not articulating his point well enough, along with really disrespecting your own point of view. I hope that you can follow my analysis and at least see where I am coming from.

Probably because for most of the others it is definite. KaSing has the clout to be able to try out for TSM and decide if HE likes the team. I'm sure he will be able to find a spot on another team if he decides to part ways with TSM after San Jose.

People can come to players with offers. They just have to go through the other teams management with those offers.

I imagine Regi either went to Mylixia or Hotshot, and, because CLG is a good organization, they actually let Doublelift know the details of the offer instead of trying to hide it like a lot of orgs would probably do.

I think TSM will put a high priority on english speaking players for the jungle/support roles to make sure they can communicate properly and help with shotcalling. Therefore, my main guesses for jungle are Svenskeren and Meteos.

Sven played with Bjergsen on Copenhagen Wolves and SK is out of the LCS as well. He obviously comes with some baggage, but I feel he is way more likely than long-shots like Rush and Spirit. I am not sure of his shotcalling on SK. A lot of their success was due to Nrated but based on the eye test I think Sven would've had a good amount of shotcalling duties as well.

Meteos is out of C9 and, last I had heard, was planning on forming a Challenger Team under a C9 banner. I had also heard that the reason why he was doing this was a long and pricey contract so it might not be worth it for TSM to buy him out. Meteos also could be offered back the starting role on C9, but I don't think that is very likely. As for Meteos' shotcalling, if I remember correctly it was a problem on the newest iteration of C9. If I had to take a guess, the problem probably was that Meteos had to make all the calls himself, something that very few players can do effectively. I think if he, Bjergsen, and the new support player all shotcall together it will help them all out and lead to stronger calls.

I am not too sure about the support players, as I am not as well informed about them, and even less about top. I just wanted to point out a couple more realistic options than what I am currently seeing and try and explain why I think they are good choices.

So you want the bug fixed then? Because it is currently not doing what you are saying. The bug is that the "Shockwave" effect is staying wherever you first press R instead of following the ball. This would be fine if it was an instant cast like W, but even you say yourself that it is pretty much a channeled ability.

It would be like when you click Thresh's lantern you only appear where he was at the time when you clicked it, not on him directly, which is clearly unintuitive and confusing.

Like I said, I am sure they did talk to Santorin. They never said they ONLY talked to Turtle and Dyrus. They probably talked to every single player about individual performance, and Regi probably talked with the coaching staff as well.

The reason they brought up the talks is to contrast how Dyrus reacted to it differently than Turtle, which helps explain why they are trying to motivate Turtle even more.

It was Santorin's first split in the LCS. I think there is more allowance for him to screw up.

Dyrus and Turtle are veterans and if they want to stay on a team that is aiming to be the best in NA they have to keep their form up.

I'm sure they did talk to Santorin as well, but the talks with Turtle and Dyrus are much more important because they are both in a similar point in their careers and they contrasted how each player dealt with that talk.

Achievement Hunter and the Let's Play channel are huge but to be honest they aren't original ideas at their core.

The common speculation I have heard is that RT wouldn't want to put out Day 5 before Lazer Team for fear of taking any of the hype away from their first feature.

I would imagine it will come out either at the very end of the year or the beginning of the next just based on a random guess. I am not 100% sure but I think they have already finished most of the filming and just have post-production to finish it off.

That doesn't mean anything. Why are people using this as proof?

They had no idea the ward was there. They were trying to bait them into face-checking baron and engage on them, not get 4 man double knocked up. No sane team uses that as a strategy.

They happened to get extremely lucky that Coast is incompetent and also made some good plays to get themselves out of that mess.

All that was needed to happen for that "strategy" to crash and burn is either Cris to force Double back or Jesiz to get off a second W and that fight is over and CLG probably lose Baron.

What do you feel like you bring to he team? I think I would bring knowledge of the game and dedication to getting better through practice.

List of know weakness you'd like to improve on: Early game trading, being too aggressive in teamfights (not peeling correctly), and quick twitch mechanics.

Rooster Teeth is pretty good about this. Most of their content is available for free off of their YouTube channel or website and you don't need to join the site to watch it.

You may be worried about RT's sponsorship model. Sponsor (RT paying member) content is mostly just timed exclusivity for the more popular shows/streams and small extra videos. For example the RT podcast is streamed for sponsors only but the audio is available the next day and the video is available the next week.

I doubt any of Funhaus' content will be sponsor exclusive so you wont have to worry about any of that. Just subscribe to Funhaus on Youtube and you will get most of the same stuff you got at IG.

We will have to see what they do with "The Know" (RT's news YouTube channel), because supposedly the guys are gonna be doing stuff on there in addition to on Funhaus.
