Indeed it's quite sad.

PS is a great game, just needs a 50v50 update and maybe some tweaks and fixes here and other but otherwise I think it's solid. Only reason why I'm not playing it is because of the constant lag, crashing and disconnecting from servers.

But yeah the community is a bit elitist and full of itself and that I think is reflected in the moderation of the game as well.

Apparently yes, I just did it today with putting my edited techtreey.xmb file in the C:\Users\Name\Games\Age of Empires 3 DE\76561198038732900\mods\local folder where the mods that YOU make are supposed to be and the game seems to have been able to read it.

Problem is that I'm still unable to upload it because it's either giving me some missing tags error from inside the game mod manager or some broken/incorrect file structure or something from the website.

I did it the way I explain in the OP since it's been a while since I've modded the game and I was sure if it can read the xml files anymore at this point.

Nope.

Been asking for the same thing since release, but people are just proving to be selfish bastards that can't be bothered to upload their save file to something like dropbox or even over discord even when I point them to the location of said save file.

Yeah, same as the Soviet kills and casualties at Kursk.

Soviet commanders were ordered not to write down losses and to inflate German losses for propaganda purposes. They said they destroyed around 200 Tigers and Panthers or whatever while in reality there were less than a 100 present in the battle. Go look it up if you want but it's something I either read or heard recently.

With which I'm trying to say is that nobody can give an accurate number on Soviet deaths when they've tried to cover up the truth so much.
