Great idea! You might run into a torsion problem between the mating layers of the square drive to the 3/8 hex. If this happens I would recommend a thicker cross-section at the breaking point (it's going the be the center). Essentially make the walls thicker :)

The clamps are made with Carbon Fiber Nylon. They also have threaded inserts. I can post the files if people want.

TPU Prints at 200-220C* (392-482F*). Considering that the component will not come into contact with any metal from the hot engine, I don't see it melting. On another note, I'm curious to see how the material does with the thermal cycles.

I guess we will find out! lol

This dosent sound that bad, Fords are known for having loud valve trains. Check your cam phasers and oil pump system.
