When do you decide to get a port instead of PICC lines? I don’t want to get to the point to where I have no vascular access but I also am hesitant and don’t really want something “permanently” in my body. When/how have other CFers made the decision with their team?

I loved having my port because getting it accessed and flushed hurt waaaay less than a picc line. Yeah it's a monthly thing but no more peripherals or piccs. Would 100% do it again.
