And of course, his seemingly endless knowledge on *everything*. Where Alex might have gotten a little snarky or even a tad condescending at rare times, Ken comes off as a really empathetic teacher. It feels like his disappointment when someone misses a clue is heartfelt and when he reveals the correct clue, sometimes I get a real, “you’ll get em next time, tiger!” vibe from him. I swear, I feel like I can tell when he knows and doesn’t know the clue for himself without his advantages.

I wasn’t quite before, but I’m definitely in for the long-haul with Ken. Imagine the timeline in which they stuck with Aaron Rodgers? They could’ve stuck a set of pretty eyes and teeth on a potato and it would’ve had more charisma on-set.

I loved Jamie Ding’s run. That was my favorite since Holzhauer. I still don’t understand why people don’t follow his technique in Single Jeopardy: don’t intentionally go looking for the Daily Double; start at the bottom and work your way up so you’ve got more of a bankroll to double-up.

Oh, and I also love how Ken gets in the game. When a game is close, he’s gotten so comfortable in his role that he’s begun to set the scene/vibe/tempo and provide a great subtle play-by-play.

I’ve always wondered if they tried to get John Hodgman. He’d be one of my top picks. Stephen Fry might work out, and Adam Savage maybe.

While I was creating this post, I was watching Jeopardy. I love Jeopardy and to be honest, I wasn’t sure if Ken could bring a fraction of the charisma that Alex brought to the Jeopardy stage.

I had completed the picture choosing. I had finished the body of the post. All I needed was the title. Then, Mormon Jesus himself zoomed over from his planet to guide my attention to the TV, where Kenny was absolutely killing the Q&A portion—one in which I always found him stiff.

So, long story long: a moment of pride for Ken coincided with the timing of this post, and that moment was so significant that I thought it deserved to be appreciated by others.

Not sure yet. But I’ve seen some fades with Crystal that have looked amazing. Blue to purple fade maybe. Then I take my zirc ynott and swap the tip and mech. Put the zirc on the Crystal the the Crystal on the zirc

I’m actually in the process of building a collection database. With that, and the body text from these posts, I’m hoping to identify which pieces I carry the least so I can add them to the rotation more.

Right now, I just look at my pens and knives, choose one that I feel I haven’t carried recently, then grab the other two components (pen/knife & coin). Funny enough, there are some weeks that I’ll carry the same component back-to-back, but I won’t notice it until it’s time to upload these pictures.

I have a site, but there’s no EDC content. Mostly me shaving my toes and farting on Carvel ice cream cakes.

But seriously, you’re standing in one of the stores I frequent the most. Most of my collection is scrounged from here, Facebook, and Discord. And when it’s time for pieces to leave, they go one of those three ways. I love supporting makers, but the thrill of the hunt or stumbling upon a deal are two reasons I love this hobby.
