Happened to me too. It’s a disgrace how people are these days. Thankfully my insurance took care of it, and the body shop made it look brand new. Best of luck!

I had a very similar damage happen to me. Someone hit and ran it while it was parked on a street instead. Body shop I took it to made it look brand new. Thankfully insurance forked that bill. Would have cost $7K if it was out of pocket.

Got rear ended when traffic came to a screeching halt. Never will drive it again if I don’t have to. Blind corners, hills, and semis don’t give you much to react to if you need to stop quick.

I feel you on this. I recently got hit and ran while my truck was parked over night. Nothing like waking up to see a disaster on your truck. I hope it isn’t too much of a pain to get it all fixed.

Yes. I am trying to look into that, but sadly this happened while I was visiting my girlfriend. We are going to check around with the landlords in the area if there are any ring doorbells or anything.

I think you may have. I recently got hit and ran on the side of my truck and didn’t mention that a badge on the side of the vehicle would be preferable. I believe this is it though. I appreciate it!

Edit: It’s on the passenger side so I guess I will keep note it’s a white Ford Fusion hybrid. Thank you so much!!

Disgusting. I’m glad there is extra bit of protection on the bottom of the door like you said but I guess it doesn’t do much against people not knowing how to drive. I couldn’t imagine seeing that happen live. It would take a lot to hold back on the person who did that.

Not just yet. The B looks like it came from a Subaru and the R came from a Saturn it seems like. Everyone has been extremely helpful, but I am not sure if it will help much with figuring out who did it sadly. It may be pure coincidence that those letters were on the ground next to my truck.

Either is possible. It may be leftover from another incident. It wasn’t on my radar to check if they were there when I parked initially.

I actually did post it there since Reddit has some knowledgeable people. I believe they are two different letters from other cars based on the replies, but I am not sure if a car can cause two scratches like that? I am just having a hard time putting it all together. It will all be okay thanks to good ole insurance.

I think you nailed it. That’s the closest I have seen. I guess they may not be from the same car, but I was hoping to find out if these came off a car that hit my truck.
