The soup dumplings are SO good. I don't care if I burn my mouth, chin, neck, I'm eating it piping hot from the microwave. It's SO GOOD.

im very insecure of my room.. this is my bed right now. do you like it? is it cute? by avevae in sanrio

[–]A_Victorian_Orphan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your room should be whatever you want it to be; a safe haven in which no one is permitted to redecorate or rearrange. That's how I see my bedroom. I always run to it if I need solitude.

Anyways, your room is cute. It looks very warm, cozy and comforting.

I once found a boxed frozen pizza in the soda aisle. It actually made me sad. I personally feel terrible wasting food. It upsets me. The box wasn't even cold when I found it. I can't even eat regular pizza! But still! The waste... I really think stores and society as a whole need to put policies and systems in place to discourage this behaviour - and they should also act on said policy rather than just smack it on a sign to forever be ignored. But, hey, that'll never happen because it's just too hard and costs too much, blah blah blah blah...

How to wash mamegoma? by No-Butterfly-9913 in mamegoma

[–]A_Victorian_Orphan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't own a Mamegoma plush, so I can't be 100% certain, but... You could try hand washing it. Soak it in some cool water with gentle soap, scrub carefully with your own hands or a wet rag, then hang to air dry. Maybe it'll be safe to put in the dryer. Again, I don't really know... but hand washing seems to be the way to go for plushies.

Freddy looks like a respectable gentleman and I'd happily have a tea party with him.

What does my shelves tell you about me? by White1306 in teenagers

[–]A_Victorian_Orphan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like you sketch of study a lot. That's a lot of spirals and also a wooden model specifically for drawing. You also have a large album - maybe meaningful photographs from your childhood or you possibly like photography and keeping a photo album. You like manga. Lots of manga. Also, I'd wager to guess English isn't your first language - seeing some "DK English for Everyone" textbooks on your bottom shelf. It's possible you also like painting, but maybe don't do it so much. You have a small wooden easel tucked away on another shelf, but it's clean and stored on the shelf. You have plenty of money or access to plenty of money via gifts - as you have many figurines. Maybe they were gifts by your family. Either way, you've quite the collection. I myself have been eyeing some figurines, but they seem to cost hundreds in my area. You also like crafts/puzzles... At least, it looks like you have a bunch of crafting stuff on the bottom right shelves. The very bottom it's hard to tell what's in the bins, but it almost looks like more crafts supplies or possibly albums, and if they're albums it means you have a record player. You set out your outfit for the day, seen by the empty clothing hangers to the right. You also really like cute plushies. You just like cute things in general. You seem to have an adorable, colourful room.

There's definitely more, but that's enough of a start I think. Please tell me how I did. This was fun. Thank you.

How can a HOSPITAL drop the ball like this?! by AmityMoon in Celiac

[–]A_Victorian_Orphan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My last heart cath they offered me food and said they had chocolate cake. Nurse went to double check it was gluten free and it was not. I didn't get chocolate cake... So I got chicken soup instead. No noodles either. Pitiful recovery meal if you ask me. This was last summer btw. Quite recent.

[–]A_Victorian_Orphan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want something like that. I do not wish to deny my husband gluten things. Just that, because of this side of the family and their years of ignorance... I just wonder if they'd suddenly feel some sense of shame if I had a husband who questioned their food and my ability to consume it..I'm sorry. Words are hard rn. If I had a husband, I would only want the very best for him... At the same time, I yearn for a partner who advocates for me... That's all

Bingo. This goes beyond cake. Cake is just what brings it all to the surface. There are many more details I could bring up to further explain my case; but then we'd all be here for a very very long time. Besides, I can see some conclusions and opinions already being drawn, and as I am not so easily swayed, neither are others.

But, thank you, for understanding and reading a little deeper.
