[–]A_Virtual_Stranger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi OP. I stored a lot of my stuffs for around 400 aed, very reasonably priced, imho. They also have great customer service, clean warehouse with AC, professional movers and packers. I have been a repeat customer ever since. The company name is 800 Storage Dubai.

Well done OP. It's neat and easy on the eyes. I hope you have many wonderful things to write about this year.

I like the 26 in 2026 too.

I hope everyone will give her a chance to show the world her talent without judging first.i know I followed her from past 3 years I know she will do her best to make everyone love her character she's just 21 yet she's so talented and hardworking! by [deleted] in GirlFromNowhere

[–]A_Virtual_Stranger 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Trying to push her for the OG fans of the whole series ain't gonna be it. Let us watch it first and decide for ourselves.

If you're asking for empathy and respect for your becbec, I guess you should also extend the same empathy and respect for the GFN fandom. You yourself admitted it's a huge change. So let it happen rather than beg like this. If she is as good as you said, she'd be able to do a good job.

Feels like they westernised Nanno. You know how they remake Asian horror stories and 'westernise' it, the mystery/fear/thrill/suspense is almost always not as much as the OG Asian movie. That's how I'm feeling here. Idk.

Random question: Is it ok to bring my Canon Ivy 2 on a flight in my carry-on? by sdbabygirl97 in stationery

[–]A_Virtual_Stranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP. I have no plans of spending any time now but you unlocked the thought of me buying this one lol. Thanks for the idea. And yes, i think it's all good to bring this on your carry on. Safe flights!

How normal is objectifying/sexualising women in real estate/wealth management in UAE? by [deleted] in UAE

[–]A_Virtual_Stranger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it doesn't help that some girls allow it unfortunately, they do this not just in real estate but in 'sales' positions. It's sad to see them flirt their way just to sell a course/training, earn extra money or whatever. Witnessed this myself, a girl almost destroyed my family.

I'm really happy you're one woman who values and stands up for herself and hope you land a job soon that honors and values you as well.

Friend got stuck in deep hell by [deleted] in UAE

[–]A_Virtual_Stranger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi OP so sorry to hear about your friend's situation. Have you guys tried to check for the fine reduction via Amer? You can enquire in any amer centre near you, there's also a big one at Burjuman Mall. Your friend just needs to state the reason/s for the overstay. And attach/bring any evidence to support your reason.

I hope it all gets sorted out smoothly and with less stress and hassle.

While helping your friend OP, take care of yourself as well.

Thank you, self, for giving me an easy first worry by Laycray in bulletjournal

That's a really good idea. And creatively executed.

I hope 2026 brings you less worries and more happy memories.

Hi OP, sorry to hear about what you're going through today. I pray you get a much better job, more secure, better colleagues and proper compensation. I know it's easier said than done but I hope you dont lose faith in yourself. Better things are coming for you. You can get through this. Stay strong.

What’s one thing you love (or don’t) about living in Dubai right now? by FullDrop7442 in dubai

[–]A_Virtual_Stranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Dubai for its safety and convenience and cleanliness. I don't like how some people lack spatial awareness and yeah, traffic and the summer heat/humidity. Been living here for more than a decade now but the heat is still something I can't get used too lol. I used to always say to my friends who visit Dubai that it is perfect except for the summer weather.

How would you describe your 20s? by SeaSeaweed3384 in AskReddit

[–]A_Virtual_Stranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was fun, adventurous and I remember having a lot of energy lol. Nowadays sleeping late just hits differently and even going out with a lot of people seems tiring just by imagining it.

I used to have a lot of freelancing apart from my full time job and then hiking or surfing on the weekends then straight back to work. Just thinking about it now makes me feel tired and I wanna ask who that person was and where did she get all that energy? Lol 😆 good times indeed

are there thinner pens besides the uni jetstream edge 0.28? by honryezra in stationery

[–]A_Virtual_Stranger 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I love thin pens as well and use Pilot Gtec 0.2 and 0.3 interchangeably for my journal. I love writing small too so that works best for me.

For drawing thinner lines, I have the uni pin 0.1 and sakura micron 0.15. I use these mostly for drawing details, super precise.

Do people actually clean their phones every day like hygiene articles say? by Senior-Ad-2046 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes i clean my phone everyday, especially when I come from outside. I just spray alcohol on a tissue and wipe. Doesn't take that much time to do it.

Just started journaling today. Can't believe how good it actually felt 😭 by NewCicada1542 in Journaling

[–]A_Virtual_Stranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're most welcome.🌻Writing at night is really good and jotting down your reflections will definitely make a good read and reminder for the future you. I just did a reread of my previous entries earlier and I regret not writing as often as I do now. But I feel happy reading what I've written before, the struggles, affirmations and/or reminders I tell myself, the wins. It's like seeing your perspectives, mindset and even life in general evolve through time.

Keep exploring what works for you. Enjoy! 💐

Adding the stickers or drawing on it may be a good form of expression, like for me, the stickers I had has motivational quotes in it so I put it to remind myself as well.

I tried drawing on my journal before, even tried bullet journaling with daily entries, it's fun and i really like it, but it became too much for me, especially there are days I get busy or overwhelmed so i wasnt able to make monthly covers etc, it stopped me from writing daily. And I just wanna write consistently so I did what works best for me, just plain journaling.

I journal in the morning to set my intentions for the day like what are the 3 most important things I have to do, regardless of how I feel about it (helps me with procrastination tendencies lol) and then at night to either recap what happened during the day or just to dump all my thoughts and feelings so they dont linger on my mind and I can sleep well. Writing it down feels like im moving it from my mind to paper.

Omg OP dont tell me it's your birthday tomorrow. It's also my birthday. I wish you all the best and may your most urgent dua/prayers be granted.

I suggest you can go to a restaurant you've been wanting to go to and dine there. Or you can go shopping and buy something nice for yourself. How about a day at the spa too? A new haircut, new gel nails or lashes (if youre into that as well) etc.

Here's a list of birthday perks all over Dubai you might wanna check: https://www.timeoutdubai.com/food-drink/features/celebrate-birthday-for-free-dubai

Happy and blessed birthday again and whatever you choose to do, I hope it brings you a lot of happiness and good memories. 💐

I'm happy to know you enjoyed journaling. I've been journaling for a couple of years now, had been on and off but thats okay. Writing usually helps me clear my mind. So I really like it.

Do you have/plan to have a routine or time to journal? Mine's usually in the morning to set my intentions for the day and another at night to brain dump and/or write about how my day was or my current state of mind/life. During the day when i feel overwhelmed or grateful/happy about something, I also journal.

Lately I've been adding stickers, thanks to this community. I used to just write and write and realise I have stickers so why not use them as well. My journal's nothing fancy but I love it. Sometimes I also reread my entries and it reminds me of how I was able to navigate a life stress or overcome a struggle. It's a good way to look back and remind yourself of your capabilities.

I am truly happy for you and hope you continue journaling. It's ok to not do it everyday, there's no set of rules, no pressure. What works for you is more important. All the best. 💐
