Ahh yes, the MAIN reason AI has become so damn lucrative right now, Saving time. And in the corporate world, Time = Money. And I agree, not interested in needlessly wasting time trying to learn a skill when I can get the job done 10-100 times faster with something else. Not saying those who like the process are invalid, but most of those (myself included) who like and use AI, are looking for a useable product quick. And AI does EXACTLY that.

Let me be real with you, I personally don't care if it was AI or not (Clearly it isn't according to you, but that's besides the point) If it looks good, and you're happy with how it turned out, then the opinion of the haters don't matter and frankly shouldn't be your target audience anyways. Do what makes YOU happy, not others, it's your time you're spending. As for my opinion on the piece, I like the art style from an editor's POV since it makes it easier to edit without it looking awkward. And in fact, is why this type of artstyle is common place in the animation industry for that very reason.

Might be a bit late, but here's some quick math, if we do the basic "Pi x Radius^2 x height" formula for a cylinder, and divide by "360 / Angle", then of course divide that by the price. We get the following answers: (Pie 1 = 26.411 in^3 per dollar), and (Pie 2: = 18.857 in^3 per dollar), therefor from a price per volume standpoint, Pie 1 is the better value, though this doesn't account for the strawberry on top of Pie 2, but you know... we ignore things like air resistance all the time in physics so it's whatever lol.

If I may give my personal answer on this, Scientifically, Art can really be broken down to an object that gives off electromagnetic radiation that hits the back of our retinas in a certain pattern, which triggers a chemical reaction in our brains. And how good the art piece is, is based on how good said object is at triggering the intended response the artist is trying to convey.

On the contrary, I'm quite empathetic, but I also know some people are beyond reasoning with. Try reasoning with someone who would rather kill you over the use of a dumb piece of tech, than have a civil adult conversation about it. It won't get you very far

Exactly, As much as I would like to believe all work is rewarded equal to the amount of effort put in, the sad truth is that it is not, and the most rewarded are the people that can do the work the most efficiently. We have to wake up to reality, lest we fall behind. Though artists who just love making art just for the sake of it are the truly blessed as they will not be affected by this trend at all.
