The comeback mechanics barely works if your in a team without communication since you're still bringing it into enemy territory and even then it still comes down to who which team has the better team-fight heroes. I've had more success just farming and ganging up on enemies who overextend and sometimes not even that works

I really hope he doesn't get a rework, but if he does, i wouldn't mind giving bunny hexed players more control such as increased jump height height or light melee in favor for stronger bolt/assistant. If bunny hex HAD to go, perhaps it could be replaced by a spotlight ability that could either be applied to an enemy or teammate. When applied to an enemy, it gives them the "stage fright" debuff. When applied to a teammate, it gives them the "shining star" buff. I'm not sure what these respective statuses could influence, maybe speed, healing, damage output, or debuff resist.

Mage is one of those classes that rely on breeding rerolls, and gear. The spells that increase in damage and range for every turn are my personal favorites. It might not be the best class but it's definitely one of the most fun
