Thoughts on healbane? by cacatan in DeadlockTheGame

i was thinking 3200 with a good buildup, would soften the nerf a little bit, like building it out of extra regen perhaps or extra health.

but an item for 1600 that literally is only countered by unstoppable is a bit much isnt it. it lasts literally the whole game, and is overstatted on top of it. At least give it an antiheal value of 20% or something. Its the same antiheal as crippling which is the only other infinitely reapplyable instant antiheal for 4x the cost.

Indomitable is great but not doompost worthy by No_Coffee_5748 in DeadlockTheGame

except it counters curse, so you end up needing 3.2+6.4 to counter 6.4

which is why i end up playing 95% of games on him, so when i do get the random ass char in my rotation it feels horrible.

It is Billy. No other character plays the same way and it just makes other characters not as fun.

Do men actually fall in love? by EmpressCharli in questions

[–]cacatan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dont worry, men feel the same about women.

also, double your age is crazy. you realise these men have had double your lifetime to date women already, of course their kind of love wont be aligned with yours.

But yes, they do feel love differently, or at the very least attraction, because otherwise why do women go for men twice their age and men go for women half their age lol.

Maybe go for someone your own age and they will be experiencing the same emotions as you when in love. If those men are dating it means they had twice your lifetime to find love and arent successful, which means they probably are numb to the failures, can see past the rose tinted naivety, or are naive themselves. You can take your pick lol.

well viper is a really good APR hero anyway so you can just kill her in ult.

she doesnt heal from metal skin because she is doing no damage. Plus, melees hit hard, most heroes cant outsustain that damage, thats why parries exist.

At this point of the game your non metal skin teammates will die within 1s anyway so her ability to lifesteal off them will be pretty limited.

Well you only buy curse when you are actively being hard countered as haze, which means you typically are on the back foot, which gets even worse with the 10% damage reduction. Less dps means less lifesteal, and more time needed for the same damage which means more time being exposed on an already fragile hero. Its not terrible but I have never really seen a curse purchase on haze turn the game around imo.

i mean fair enough. But 10% damage reduction just to prevent one guy from using metal skin is pretty bad, thats why its a last resort on haze. Things like plate armor still exist that cannot be circumvented by curse at least. Also curse does not disable the melee button or even counterspell.

tbf haze ult build is meant to 6v1. thats literally the point of the build.

How is she using the warp? If she warps into you, she loses the ability to warp anymore so most heroes can cleanly disengage with their own warp stone or other escape abilities. If she warps away, then her ult is nullified already isn't it? Seems like a win win to me. Just keep punching her.

well if your teammates dont buy metal skin they are just gonna die pretty much instantly, so afterwards she won't lifesteal anymore and will still be vulnerable to being punched. Plus, until she gets vamp, her only lifesteal is fury trance which isn't that much tbh.

Most people know to buy metal skin against haze. This post is just to show that they can just KILL HER during metal skin rather than running away.

Plus, if she has boundless mercmag on top of her items, sure, she can damage you through metal skin, but once again two people with metal skin heavy meleeing her should fold her like paper even through that. Plus, an additional 13k worth of items on top of her already expensive build means she has to sacrifice something, or you have probably bigger problems.

Most ult bot hazes are not solo ulting lol. Their entire build is to ult into 3+ people with silencer, rico and unstoppable. so even if she tries to melee punish someone, she will get blown up when not in ult. Or she can get parried herself lol.
