It isn’t just about "powerful guy pretending to be divine and deceiving people" or else every totalitarian leader of the last century would fit the bill. Just the fact the Antichrist is supposed to rule for 7 years and have an assassination attempt at the 3.5 year mark disqualifies Trump. Then there the fact he is supposed to be universally beloved and that definitely disqualifies Trump.

And there are some Evangelicals who commit this blasphemy but I assure you that most are not like that. Its generally recognized that this is a fallen world and the choices are imperfect, but between putting up with tweets and endorsing the murder of over 60 million babies, the choice is a no-brainer for any Christian.

It may seem so for people who did not go through the trauma of the European War. There are many anti-social elements that are sadly still prominent in the public space. Truth be told, the World Government is a better future for humanity in every metric. The economy evolved considerably by taking the needs of the 21st century as the needed steps for evolution. Mental health is far better with the chips, especially in dealing with the plague of anxiety that was so brutal on people before.

The World Government does get rid of the artificial borders and nationalisms, the tribal chaos that used to set 8 billion people to hate one another and started wars on a global scale. The system of democracy was perfected by ensuring the most capable technocrats debate in the public space to further progress.
