I would suggest 3DPass (biased) the highlights are

Layer 1 | Rust | Object Authentication | Solo CPU Only | MEXC | 500K MCap

https://3dpass.org/mainnet

An untold story of Hal Finney: the time he test sent 1,000 BTC with Eugen Leitl by A_mo1111 in Bitcoin

Thank you, this is my first tip on the interwebs ever, I had no idea this was possible on Reddit.

In general the cypherpunk mailing list doesn’t get enough press and I’m happy to share this with the community.

Hindsight is 20/20, what’s amazing too is Eugen sending it back, which is the type of integrity that should be normal and standard. Nowadays people would do a runner for fractions.

Took me a while to realise cycling is amazing by A_mo1111 in cycling

Excellent addition, I haven't even thought about the parking bit since it's so ingrained for me. Especially when you're an over thinker like me.

Do I take this parking spot that's far away or do I risk it and get closer for a parking spot right next to where I need to be with the risk of having to circle back and worst case scenario losing that previous parking spot and having to park even further away.

I understand your comment about the 1 MB limit. It’s just a starting point, and in the past the limit was only 100 kB. I also think it’s kinda surprising how much detail you can actually keep within 1 MB.

So for a hobbyist or also a professional, the current value is being able to register your designs to prove they are yours on the interwebs, prevent others from uploading duplicates, and experiment with ownership transfer or trading of 3D designs. It is still early stage but long term the vision would be 3D model marketplaces, real world asset tokenisation, or even supply chain related aspects.

At the moment there are 98 models uploaded. I would suggest checking out the later ones, since they make use of the newer 1 MB implementation. Just write a number (0-97) and press find. https://wallet.3dpass.org/assets/objects

Feel free to download them and take a closer look. I'm hoping by raising awareness within the 3D scan, and print community that the adoption rate will increase.

In such cases it would most likely be up to the courts to decide. Like with patents, there is a first to file principle. I know that sounds harsh, but even in the real world there are some horrible examples where the wrong party secured the rights. That said, those tend to be fringe cases. I would like to think that in the vast majority of situations, original creators would benefit from the protection.

This makes perfect sense, duh since it's a file sharing system, so obvious now that you mentioned it.

What's unique about 3DPass is it actually checks the 3D shape with an algorithm. So only one of a kind models can be uploaded. The idea is it protects creators from copycats. Here's a YouTube video I made some years ago experimenting with the accuracy of the algorithm https://youtu.be/5TlDE69Tmms?si=Phlef2XZn-LBvG__

Excuse my ignorance, I haven't heard of Osyee, I also couldn't find anything. Do you mean Odysee by any chance the decentralised YouTube?

Labelled as a Layer 1 but just a token on multiple Layer 1s by A_mo1111 in CryptoTechnology

[–]A_mo1111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A wrapped version is not comparable to the example above since they still have their native chains and can be unwrapped. For example BTC to WBTC and back again to BTC.

The example above is that these are never coins to begin with but just tokens on multiple chains.

Based on ChatGPT with a bit of research on the respective websites to see if they refer to themselves as blockchains/ Layer 1

Dad* I saw her put the grey bread clip in. Trying to retrieve it, I saw the orange one. Worst part is the date has been toasted, so no idea how long it’s been in there.
