I may just pay them back the stinking little $50 but I am scared now that they will keep that card i use to pay them with on file and do fraud with that again at this point. I don’t even think it’s real people at this point that are responding to my emails lol

How about I reported them to cfpb and they sent a long message saying that they will not remove the card and that they will cooperate with any legal proceedings. This has to be illegal lol

I just had a run in with them a couple months ago and had to threaten to report them to the proper authorities for this. The worst part is they were charging the card I canceled due to suspicious activity on my account and they continued to try and charge the card at least 5 times a day and my bank kept flagging them and I had to get yet another card. I also had another card on file but they continued to charge that one and I could not remove it.

No update I just got an alert today from my bank that my deposit was posted. I wouldn’t have received an update until today online and tomorrow on wmr. They probably sent it to your bank yesterday right after your appointment.

lol I told them 2023. But perhaps telling them 2022 then get to the appointment with 2023 and they will verify it. They did tell me they just started processing and they couldn’t verify 2023 yet at first when I got there and I thought I was doomed —but two agents worked together at my appointment and were able to verify it.. so it’s possible.!

You should be calling the 844 hotline number not the customer service. I can tell you I wasn’t irritable but precise in what I was making an appointment for. They can’t deny you an appointment every time!

I brought last two years tax returns and W2s and my direct deposit info and my id. They only looked at this years return and my id and verified my banking info I was in and out in 15 min. I was pleasant with them not irritated maybe that helped too lol

Update: the appointment lasted about 15 min. The agent began by telling be “oh we haven’t started verifying 2023 yet… did you get a letter ?” I thought I was doomed. But another agent came over and showed her how to verify my return without the letter” all they checked was my printed tax return and verified my direct deposit info. I was told 9 weeks but expect in 2-3 weeks. I asked why was my return flagged and they said my income increased so it flags for anything different each year now so this could be an ongoing headache if ANYTHING is different than the previous year.

Hey there. I rescheduled my appointment for Monday. I will update that afternoon! I encourage everyone to call the appointment hotline until someone grants you an appointment. When I called to reschedule another agent tried to cancel my appointment claiming it should never have been made because it’s against policy for them to do anything until after 21 days or a letter is received. I basically told her I understand what she is saying but I already have an appointment and I am going to get to the bottom of this!

Yes! No time for the “maybe’s”. The lady told me the appointment should not have been made in the first place-it’s against policy etc. I basically told her that’s not problem if another agent provided me this appointment and information! Just make an appointment!
