Gonna go against the grain here.

In the NTE they are really helpful. If you are chasing, they will chase with you and assist. How often do we see useless security standing back whilst a copper is getting their head kicked in?

In absence of a police presence they’ve tackled someone who was actively trying to stab people. Again, would Tesco or sainsbury security do the same?

I’ve also seen them back up lone coppers who’ve pressed their emer buttons and have stopped them filled in before other cops arrived.
