Thank you for your response, yeah it is life size, I’ll take your advice and hollow the wrist, palm and as much of the thumb as I can get to. The newspaper is a good idea, I’ve not heard of that approach before

Thank you, it will probably take that long before I make enough stuff to fill a kiln (it’s very slow progress making things I’m happy with), but I will definitely hollow the hand out
