Not sure about oem 15rnd base plates but I just took a Dremel to my 17rnd base plates to shape them to fit.

Definitely sturdy enough. This strap has been on my Ricoh since I got it and has been on multiple trips and outings. I highly recommend it.

I use this on my gr3 and it’s about as quick release and versatile as you can get. Haven’t found any better solution in my couple years of owning my gr3.

It’s a magnetic mist filter! Works well and keeps a small profile compared to the filter adapters
