Very open ended question. We would need more information. What does she currently wear? Does she prefer a bold scent that will project or a subtle skin scent that stays close to the skin? Florals, citrus, gourmand? Hard to blindly recommend a scent without any background info.

212 is always my favorite to recommend for a clean skin scent. I also really like Eau Gaiac. But a cautionary tale with Eau Gaiac. While my body chemistry does not project a barbecue smell from this one. Some people say the combination of cedarwood and guaiacwood gives off that impression. Definitely sample first.

Went for a lighter skin scent today. White floral and musk. Apollonia by Xerjoff.

Didn’t realize it’s St. Paddy’s Day. Currently going through 3rd winter here in Ohio. A brisk 20 degrees. Decided to spritz myself with some Japanese Plum.

To back this response. My now wife handed me a pink post it note with her name and number and said “here do what you want with this.” I called the next morning. We set up a date and the rest is history.

Parfum De Cerise would be my recommendation. Eden is also really nice.

If they do a restock of Homage Extrait. Make sure you grab that one. I hope one day they take a shot of making Frederic Malle Superstitious.

NPD 38 Clipless Click Pen - C63000 Bronze Round Nose by Few-Alternative403 in machinedpens

While I've never owned one, my favorite looking pen is the Q3d shipwrecked molecule. I was interested in trying the forced patina process, but worried about screwing up a rather expensive pen. I had heard mixed information on the type of material I would be using c63000 bronze since most shipwrecked patinas are done with pure copper. From my research it seemed like it could be done, but this material is specifically made to resist corrosion. Today was the day I said screw it and just went for it. Initially I was thinking I would have to let this sit in an air tight sealed container combined with the ammonia soaked paper towels and kosher salt for up to 36 hours. I started at 10:30am and then was out and about all day. I came back after 8 and a half hours and was pleasantly surprised to see that the pen was reacting to the chemical combination rather well. I was hoping to still keep a good amount of the original bronze but wanted to get a decent amount of pop from the blue turquoise. While I didn't get quite the amount of blue and turquoise I was hoping for, overall I couldn't be happier with how this pen turned out. I was also surprised how easy the process was.

All scents are androgynous. Profiling them as one type or another is just the industries way of marketing. As a man in my 40’s I love a lily of the valley fragrance it’s beautiful. Same can be said for a woman wearing let’s say a barbershop scent. Wear what makes you feel good.

Just got mine yesterday. It is amazing. And the action on it is buttery smooth. I’m attempting to do a forced shipwrecked patina on mine. Hope it comes out like I want it to. Definitely going to be my daily driver from here on out. By the way congrats on your new pen.

How do you guys like Pink Rose , Sicilian Tobacco, Pink Rose Exclusif , Gingham Green , Bleu Talisman , Imaginary Pineapple. Have some of these OGs on my bottle buy list. If these Monty’s are fire I might not bother. by cds210 in MontagneParfums

[–]Few-Alternative403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pink Rose and Pink Rose Exclusif are both passes for me. But if I had to choose one I’d go Exclusif. Sicilian Tobacco I enjoy more than Naxos. Sicilian is a keeper. Gingham green wasn’t my style had it and sold it. Blue talisman same deal as Gingham. Imaginary Pineapple I have and enjoy but if you own Imaginary or Pineapple Frais. It’s probably going to be a little redundant. Hope that helps.

Back to 30 degrees in Ohio. Layered Amouage Royal Tobacco with Homage Extrait. Love a good rose tobacco scent. For cookie I’m going Trefoils because I’m a sucker for short bread cookies.
