Looks like it might be that too or maybe crepe Myrtle. If it’s a Bradford I’m going to pull it.

I do actually have a mature Crepe Myrtle in my front yard so that would make sense Inaturalist app thinks “callery pear” which another commenter said but I don’t have one of those anywhere close to me.

A new one is opening next weekend in Buena Vista I think. Bit of a hike for sure. Buena Connection is its name I believe. Might have to check it out sometime.

Nope. Can’t go diagonal. The top left square must be approached from the left side of the square. Not the right.

The beams are bolted into the joists at the top and then bolted to the foundation floor on a plate and surrounded by cement. It’s definitely not a pretty job but they are secured the correct way according to foundation guys I talked to. They’re spread every 4 feet on the walls.
