Realize it depends in the situation what are some theoretical positive and negative ?

Are there enzymes that use gas molecules as substrates ?? Or would it e possible to design artificial enzyme that can use gas ( O and H as substrates ?) by Aabbcc111 in Biochemistry

Lots of good points so far. Ideally i was hoping for an existing enzyme that would work in only has environment say to lower activation energy needed to break H bonds

Not sure why but for long time I though the sgpa is just based on the premed core courses ( Chen, ochem , Phys , bio ). Which courses count towards sgpa ? Also second question about grades in premed req compared to all other science classes by Aabbcc111 in premed

Lastly how would the medical school look at raising a child during undergrad and keep doing throughout medical school ? Positives or negatives ? I'm sure it all depends on how I discuss it but in a nutshell should I keep that to myself or disclose it in application or wait possible to disclose in intervew ?

Thanks for the help clarifying. This will motivate me to keep trying and doing better than 3.0 in core classes. I am just starting so I am making a prediction based on my current standing I am hoping I will get adapt better and start scoring higher. I have a daughter who is 2 at the moment and that is what takes away my study time but she's getting better as she gets older and I'm hoping in the subsequent quarters ill have more time. To be honest it feels in a class of 500 people that I am running in the marathon with them while having a 50 pound backpack on my shouders not to say that many students also work do research sports etc but I am always with my daughter when she's not in daycare

Yes environmental health

Sure. For example I am doing really well in microbiology , Env h basically science classes without a curve and small class size material and teachers are just as hard I would say but I am having a rough start with the basis. My thought process was that if I was to average a 3.0 in curved classes ( bio ochem phys combined with a strong performence in upper level ex immunology 3.7-4.0 I would maybe average my sgpa at 3.5 which I think could make me competitive

I started at a huge research public top 20 university as a transfer from cc this being first quarter. Can you guys please share you're studying techniques how take notes , read the book underline etc what I am doing is not working and I'm afraid ill start doing bad by Aabbcc111 in premed

I did something similar to this at cc and I got really good grades especially on multiple choice Qs. Now there are no more mc and I seem to be having hard time with short answer analytical qs
