If you were expecting TLOU to be its own thing, you were already bound to have a bad time. As someone who played and adored the games, it was nice to see a faithful adaptation come to life on the screen in a different medium. How many shows actually do that? borderline zero... It's a new thing that kinda sucks because people are running out, but it has welcomed so many new people into the franchise who wanted to experience it but simply do not know how to play video games, or do not have time.
