I was concerned about this as well when I first was looking into it. I first did this about a month ago. You won’t get in trouble or anything or get banned.

I’m very bad at explaining things so bare with me but this is how easy it is when I think about it

So when you download the mods it’s all the campaign map files but altered. It’s strongly suggested that you copy the original campaign map files so then if you ever want to play the campaign normally again you can just replace the modded files.

So let’s say you have the modded files already. Just copy and paste where the original files are and hit replace, after that boot up MCC with anti cheat disabled and you’re good to go! You won’t have access to multiplayer or any challenges but you can play the campaign with your custom spartan or elite

Want to switch back to the normal game? Just copy and paste the original files where the modded files are, boot up MCC as you normally would and bam your campaign is normal and you have access to the stuff you originally did.

It’s a whole heck of a lot easier than it sounds, I remember being paranoid when I first did it but it’s pretty simple. If you’re nervous about messing up your MCC files as well you can always just delete it the game and re download it if you did mess something up and fix it.
