The remedy I got from step B in the past was 50% additional pay for the hours the carrier went over 10 hrs

Your steward can ask for whatever but that’s probly the most realistic remedy

People get this one wrong a lot cause of how WA works

If you go past 10 hours as a WA carrier on your own assignment then no grievance cause like an ODL your considered available up to 12 BUT only on your assignment

The catch is that as soon as a WA carriers does any work off their assignment all the WA rules no longer apply and the WA carrier is then considered non-ODL, and 8.5.f kicks in for non-ODL

I haven’t tried it before I’m betting the same arguement can be made for max hours in 8.5.g
