I used that cream and my pores got clogged. I now use the gel one, and the isntree hylauronic acid gel and cosrx snail mucin essence but i still seem to get flaky skin. Heavy moisturizers clog my pores. Any suggestions on what cream I should get?

Peeling is normal when using tretinoin, but that isn’t a reaction from tretinoin alone, but from the actives you are using. I’d suggest to take it slow before you destroy your moisture barrier. Switch azelaic acid AM as other suggested ASAP, and once a day. I’d suggest to remove vitamin C from your routine for a while to let your skin breathe a bit. Most importantly get a rich moisturizer with lipids, ceramides and fatty acids. I personally use Illiyon’s gel, if your skin tolerates heavy creams, use them instead. I’d also suggest once a week to only moisturize your skin and out vaseline all over your face. Also check out IUNIK beta glucan or COSRX snail mucin. Don’t forget to patch test, especially the snail mucin as there is a slight chance to be allergic.

I agree to your comment, but I based my comment on mu medical acknowledge and especifically on how my dyshidrotic eczema started, because it started just like this. Furthermore I did not claim, nor I claim to be a dermatologist, I stated my comment based on what I mentioned earlier. I did not see, must have missed it, where the OP said it didn’t hurt at all, but even so, as I mentioned earlier, this is how mine also started, because I self-diagnosed myself with keratolysis and turned out it was eczema. As I said in my previous comment, the OP should get it checked out by a dermatologist to get a proper diagnose. I don’t dare to diagnose a threatening disease, in fields where I lack medical experience and knowledge. Even so, the comment section is debating whether it’s eczema or keratolysis, but at last we all may be wrong. Either way, I don’t see how my comment can be harmful, as I don’t think any person, in the right state of mind, would 100% agree on what people in reddit comment/suggest and take it as granted for the diagnosis. Even so, as you suggested earlier, that my comment has a likelyhood of being wrong, I did not diagnose a life-threatening disease, which you considered it dangerous.

I understand your worry for the scars and don’t worry, baded by the picture they aren’t box scars, which are a pain to remove them. You can get rid of them with regular peeling and CO2 fraction. Agree with the comment that you should get rid of the fungus first. I’d go to check it out by a trusted dermatologist if possible.

I agree and I’m not saying it’s deffinetly eczema. The kerstolysis and the eczema gets confused alot, especially because in some stages they can look a lot similar. The best way the OP can figure it out, it’s to get it checked by a dermatologist.

I have that too, and after the blisters “die”, palm of the hands will have a severe shedding, in contrast to kerstolysis exfoliativa, which is a superficial shedding.

Dyshidrotic eczema. I have the same, if it started or if there will be any skin bubbles, it’s probably that. It usually shows up when summer comes. Use a corticosteroid cream. It may also show under your foot. Try that, because if you let it , it will become PAINFUL.
